Peaceful mornings sipping coffee and looking over pastoral fields, cozy evenings with hot showers, fluffy towels and relaxing beds. Lovely stay. Pictures very accurate.
This property was an oasis on our trip. It was quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed. It was clean and we loved being outside. We saw deer several times and totally enjoyed getting away from the busy crowds. Would definitely stay there again. The host was wonderful and responsive!!!
Rustic building exterior, but very clean and cozy inside. Beautiful setting a few hundred yards from the York River with abundant bird and animal life. The road is a dead end, so we saw about one other car per day. Two bedrooms plus a library with a day bed. The owners appear to be updating and adding items regularly. It's about a 20 minute drive to Yorktown and about a 40 minute drive to Williamsburg. We would definitely stay here again.
Very interesting place to stay. Beautiful property and the house itself is very cool. It feels old but that only adds to the charm. The owner is very good at communication and helping you find the property, which is a bit off the beaten path. But again, that is what makes this place fun. I’d stay here again anytime.
We loved staying here. It met all of our needs and was so peaceful. Communication was great. The video of how to find it was very helpful. Thanks for letting us stay.
Restored cottage was very clean and accurate to the listing. The owner/manager was highly communicative and helpful. Good access and proximity to local attractions. I would recommend this house and would stay here again.
This property was a cozy, quiet and private home away from home when my family came to Williamsburg. The set up worked well for our family of five and could also be a perfect getaway for a couple.
This place was perfect! A great location, beautiful property, and well furnished. We’ll be back!

Lovely getaway
We have had the pleasure to stay in the charming cottage three years now. If you seek peace, tranquility and beautiful surroundings this is why we stay. And yes. We will return!
The cottage is beautiful and very comfortable. Great place to disconnect and very close to historical sites like Yorktown and Williamsburg. We really enjoyed our time there.
This was a great property. It was quiet and just what we needed for our trip to visit friends in the area. We will definitely be booking it again when we come back.
