Authentic Spanish Hacienda! Expansive Mountain Views! Pool!

An authentic and private Spanish hacienda nestled against the San Jacinto foothills, Hacienda Barranca offers a feeling of total privacy with expansive mountain views in the Mesa neighborhood just minutes from downtown Palm Springs and golf courses, parks and hiking trails.

A custom home with a Hollywood history fit for Palm Springs, Hacienda Barranca belonged to Ocean’s Eleven producer Jerry Weintraub after he bought it, sight unseen, during a poker game with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and George Hamilton. The filmmaker liked the home so much he lived in it for nearly 20 years.

Today, terracotta roofs, stacked-stone walls and naturally landscaped grounds, accented by a courtyard fountain, evoke a European villa.

The thoughtfully designed outdoor space also features a family-style dining table by an outdoor fireplace, a BBQ grill, and a large stone saline hot tub.

Inside, the 3-bedroom casa combines the warmth of modern decor with bold, Spanish-inspired patterns and original artwork.

Overall a beautiful space and surroundings, well appointed, convenient and a great place to stay. Multiple great places to relax. Taking care of a few small maintenance items (outside chairs and stopped up drain) and refresh of some kitchen items would make it perfect. Definitely would rent again.

Palm Springs Mountain Oasis

Well maintained and comfortably furnished property. Pristine and manicured landscaping. Extremely private and quiet neighborhood allowed for a relaxing getaway. Note: Two ensuites have rain shower heads so if you want to wash the soap out of your hair, you have to use the small guest shower. Overall, excellent property- can't wait to come back.

Beautiful gem

This was a beautiful location, view, and home. Check in and check out were seem-less. The home had an amazing pool and backyard that made our vacation perfect. There were no issues other than master bed was a little uncomfortable for us as we are use to a more solid mattress . Our family would book again though and maybe put the kids in the master. Thanks!
