Thanksgiving at the Pour House
perfect for a family. We have stayed there before and since then they have made some upgrades. There is now nice path to the river which makes it easy access. Everything was fine except the dishwasher did not work and it was Thanksgiving! We hand washed dishes all weekend long.

Good- with a few notes
Your Comments Lots of charm- loved the location. Cleaning left a lot to be desired- bathtubs and shower curtains were covered in pink mold. Sink needed cleaning in the kitchen. The starter hand soaps were just pure watered down mess, we had brought our own. There was no dishwasher tab or detergent starter left, I had brought some but ran out and left more under the sink. The light above the stove does not work, and the fan only has one barely running speed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed for cooking and a very good knife set. Nice touches of dog water bowls and extra poopy bags if needed. Everything you could need. The mattresses were in good shape also. The yard was well manicured and had two papaw trees. Lots of spiders in and out of the house. Would stay again (bringing more cleaning supplies with me).

Perfect week!
We had a great week while staying at the Pour House. This was our third time staying in Todd but the first time at this cabin. I have to admit when I first booked it there was only one review at the time, and was told by the rental office it was a new rental and that we would love it. This cabin was in a perfect location and she didn’t lie, we loved it!! My husband and son loved having direst access to the river for fishing and I enjoyed listening to it while sitting on the porch. This cabin was very clean when we arrived and had plenty of space in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen supplies. The downstairs was a perfect spot for the kids to hang out too. We love staying in that area it’s so peaceful and we will plan to come back to the Pour House.
