Cabin was perfect for a guys weekend to go to Port Royal Speedway for the races. Kate reached out ahead of time with instructions and info about the house. There were snacks waiting when we arrived. Great place to stay!

Birthday getaway

We are local and booked Timberland Estates to celebrate our sons birthday. From check in to check out everything was wonderful. Kate was a fantastic host and was great with communicating. The property was so beautiful and exactly what we expected. A huge thank you to our hosts for making it a great stay!!!

Hockey Weekend Getaway

We had a hockey tournament in State College and were blown away by the convenience and quality of this Chalet! We plan on renting again in the near future and trying to enjoy more of the area. The owners were some of the best we have rented from.

Although our stay was short. The owners of the property thought of everything. From having creamer in the fridge, a nice arrangement of chips and snacks to the ease of entering the property. Overall a wonderful stay for our family to attend a wedding.

The host was great! Communication was excellent, the property was beautiful and decorated so well! The host provided so many wonderful extras too! We were traveling for a college football game, so we were not in the home for long periods of time, but we want to come back for sure. Enjoyed every moment we had staying at this warm and comfortable rental.

Timberland Estates

My family and I were in town for my son"s graduation from PSU, which necessitated several trips to University Park. We absolutely loved the space that the cabin afforded us. Cook, play games, hike, watch TV or read quietly by the fire, this cabin has it all. Most importantly, we were able to all stay together very comfortably. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is such a peaceful place to stay. It met all of our needs and more. My husband is in a wheelchair and while it is not listed as handicap accessible we were able to make it work. It is close to some cute shops and nice parks. The owners Kurt and Katelin were very accessible and helpful. They live nearby but are not at all intrusive. We would definitely stay here again.

perfect girls weekend

The communication with the property owner was great. Very helpful and attentive. The cabin is very clean, updated and was a perfect place to spend a weekend with friends - we didn't leave once. Everything was immaculate - bathroom, kitchen, bedding. There was a well stocked kitchen, ample room for lounging and catching up with friends. Highly recommended cabin if you are looking for central PA stay.

Wow! This place is AMAZING!!

We rented this cabin to commute to the Bryce Jordan Center for a wrestling tournament. It was the perfect space for our family of 6. The kids had space to play, watch tv, play games and not be couped up in a hotel room. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was glorious! The bathroom was beautiful. We loved the bunk room for the kids and the master space was great as well. They had absolutely everything you could possibly need for your stay. We loved it so much, we will book again next year. Host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, having snacks and waters in the fridge for when we arrived. We've stayed a quite a few rental homes, and this has been one of the best! You won't be disappointed.

Perfect stay near Penn State

This cabin is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Penn State but don't want to pay the ridiculous hotel prices in town. Took about 30 minutes to get from the door of the cabin to our parking lot for the football game. So easy! The hosts have thought of EVERYTHING possible that you might need for your stay. Huge tvs to watch all of the games. Games galore to entertain everyone. Super comfy beds. The cabin was incredibly clean and all of the decor is modern and stylish. The bathroom is instagram post worthy! Just gorgeous. Couldn't have asked for better hosts either. Thanks for a great stay.

Great Stay for Penn State Football!

This property was amazing! We travelled with our family (ages 9 - 73), and couldn’t have been happier to stay at this rental for a Penn State Football Game! Getting to and from the game was a breeze! Bedrooms are on the main level, so if you are traveling with anyone that has difficulty navigating stairs, no worries there. Plenty of space to spread out! The bunk beds were our 9 year olds dream! Furniture was comfy, and supplies were well stocked. Lots of extra touches to feel welcome and homey! Property was VERY clean! Well maintained, quiet location to retreat to! Would 100% stay here again for leisure, football, or other PSU events!

Beautiful mountain home near PSU

We were visiting the State College area to attend a Penn State football game and we loved our stay in this chalet home. It’s been newly renovated and looks fantastic! It’s cozy and clean, and has lots of space for a large group. Great game room, and large smart tv’s both upstairs and down. The owners are super friendly and accommodating, and provide many basic items that would be extras at many places. It’s about 25 miles to Beaver Stadium and even with game day traffic you can be there in under an hour. The town of Reedsville is a lovely, quiet hamlet in a valley between mountains in this beautiful region of Pennsylvania. We would love to stay there again next time we’re in the area!

Really perfect listing and stay. Thank you for everything! Hosts were super communicative and helpful. They left lovely treats for us. The home is even nicer in real life than the photos. Super clean - large - comfortable - fully stocked. And great location to access lots of activities and sites (or snuggle at home in a cozy mountainous cabin with all conveniences and comforts imaginable)!
