Thank you for staying at my happy place, Somerset Dam. As you said, it’s an excellent position and a great location. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed your stay!”
Great place to stay in a great location. Plenty of room for us and our extended family. Close to the dam for our boat. No better way to watch the Broncos win than on the big screen on the deck. Nice and clean. Great communication and would definitely stay again.
Has everything you could need for a group, entertainment wise and cooking wise. Nice backyard area and balcony. Would recommend. Close to the Dam and the Dam is beautiful and fresh, great for water sports.
This property is well thought out, has absolutely everything you need, is immaculately clean and very well presented. The area is so peaceful with super easy access to the Dam if needed. I would 100% recommend.

We love when our guests enjoy their stay at our happy place. The house was designed for ease and convenience for a getaway for adults and children to wind down after a day on the water.
Well thought out layout. Nicely appointed. Everything covered.
Be aware that after paying a cleaning fee you are still expected to vaccume, mop, and wipe down bathrooms before you leave.

I’m glad you enjoyed my happy place it is a fantastic house. We do ask our guests to leave the house clean all products are provided and $132 cleaning is very reasonable to wash all linen, towels and general cleaning to maintain the house.
I stayed at My Happy Place for a weekend with friends and it was a lovely clean place. It was great for group entertainment and had plenty of kitchen equipment.
One downside was the cleaning requirements on checkout including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping if necessary, and wiping down vanity/mirrors/bathrooms. These tasks were on top of the cleaning fee charged and this was not obvious to us on booking.

Thanks for your positive review about My Happy Place it’s a fantastic house and is the best guest house in the village. Regarding the cleaning fee this is the cost for cleaning and changing the linen and towels as I want our guests to start their holiday as soon as you walk in. We will change the wording so future guests are not confused.
Great place to stay for a skiing weekend with the family. Very spacious, clean and loads of extras that we weren't expecting like the movie projector and pool table. plenty of room of the boat as well.
☆ 5 stars from us. We stayed for a week and will be back as soon as we can. House is so beautiful and clean.
Everything is like brand new. Photos don't do it justice it actually looks better in person than the photos. Perfect outdoor entertaining area with a huge outdoor table that turns into a pool table, another big plus was the outdoor projector.
Plenty of fridge space inside and outside which is a big plus for family's staying together. Dishwasher and air-conditioning throughout!! Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked with cutlery and tableware no need need bring anything to cook with, and the outdoor BBQ was so nice and clean.
Driveway has plenty of space also which was perfect for our boat and a few other cars. Kids had an absolute ball so much entertainment in the kids bunk room, the lawns and gardens are really well maintained outside also.
We can't wait to come back. 👍
