Our family gathered for my 60th birthday (and trip down memory lane to the place I spent my childhood summers.) The cabin was comfortable, roomy, and suited our needs well. The kitchen was functional but a bit small for a large group. We totally made it work though! The picnic table on the deck was big enough for all of us to eat together during the warm evenings. The folks at Bear Valley Rentals were very accommodating and responsive.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're delighted your stay was comfortable and suited your family’s needs. It's great to hear you enjoyed the deck's picnic table and found our team accommodating and responsive. We appreciate your feedback on the kitchen size and are glad it worked for your event. We hope to welcome you back for more memorable moments.
This house has a lot to offer groups with its location within in a short 10 minute walk to the village and layout of the bedrooms with extra bedroom and kitchenette downstairs to accommodate a large group and giving folks extra space. It also had toys and a pack n' play for the baby. However, the beds need an upgrade as very hard and the kitchen could use some organization and updates to the pots and pans. Management company was very responsive.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying in a RedAwning property. We look forward to hosting you again.
It was nice to get away from the intense Sacramento heat, however, it was still quite hot in the mountains! The rental property was quite spacious and provided private space for the different family members. We were somewhat disappointed with the overall appearance of the house. It definitely could use some updating. A lack of lighting. Ceiling fan in living area did not work. Would suggest replacing with a fan/light combo. Large dead tree near deck could be very potential hazard, plus it is an eyesore. Overall, I don’t think the rental was worth the high price we paid.

Great Stay
Our group really enjoyed our stay at Cabin 45. Pros: free firewood and plenty of it, stocked kitchen, clean house l, comfortable beds. Cons: Having to put the sheets on all beds with a high cleaning fee, no recycle bin.

Great home for large group
Our family gathering of 11 adults and kids fit perfectly in this older cabin as the 5 bedrooms on 3 floors allowed plenty of space and privacy. We made good use of the secondary kitchen downstairs, especially the fridge! The deep leather couches and good size dining table accommodated us comfortably, and we enjoyed eating at the long table on the deck. The parking area even fit all 5 of our cars! We had a great time swimming at Lake Alpine, took a hike to Duck Lake, and had 2 fun rounds of disc golf. Best of all we were able to bring the pups along on our holiday. This may not be the fanciest cabin in Bear Valley, but it is a very usable one.
