Check in was very smooth. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. Kitchen was stocked with essential cookware. Lovely fire pit and dock. Kayaks, canoe and paddle boat was enjoyed by our family. Great holiday with our family.
Ali was great. Check in was on time and the place was clean. We ran into a power outage in the area one night and Ali checked in with us often to make sure we were good. Caused no hiccups in our vacation. Game room on the lower level is a great place for the kids to chill while adults have conversation time upstairs.
The property was wonderful and roomy. The water was lovely. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Great place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family.
We had a great stay here. Place was really nice and there were a lot of things to do during the sunny and rainy days. We had one small issue one night and Ali got back to us immediately.
Really happy with our stay here.
Thanks Ali
We were a group of 9 adults family and friend's. We found the cottage cozy with lots of room to hang out indoor and out. Very sloped property so a little challenging to do outdoor games but we made it work. Enjoyed the big Adirondack chairs and the pool table and TV for the rainy day.

It wasn't noted on the cottage description that we would need to bring our own drinking water, but Ali did respond when I asked. This should be noted in the cottage description. There was a huge step down from the cottage to the deck, and also no railing for the first 5 steps to the games room, which made it unsafe. Ali said he would think of something to fix the step and get back to me, but this didn't happen. The sink in the kitchen came loose from the counter and we were asked to shore it up with bricks. There was a huge problem with the dock, made worse with the rising water. My son tore his foot on a rusty nail while pulling the dock back into place. Ali said he would have someone fix it, and for safety sake to stay off it. This wasn't acceptable since we were there to enjoy the water.Noone came to look at the problem.Despite all this, we thoroughly enjoyed our week, and made the best of everything. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean.
The cottage was wonderful. Lots of games and activities in and out of water which we really appreciated. The location is beautiful but not close to many amenitie. Planning ahead is important as the closest walmart or store is quite far away. Thankfully we brought cases of bottled water, beacause we could not figure out how the water dispenser worked. Other than that those small inconveniences, the host was friendly and responsive, the place was very clean and accommodating. The sunroof, patio and gathering areas were just perfect for our family get away! We will be back for sure.
