We stayed here with our kids over Labor Day and loved being right on the lake. Mornings on the water were the best part of the trip, and it's exactly the kind of place that makes for good family memories. The house itself needs some real updating though. Between the windows, the appliances, and a few maintenance issues, it could use some serious care to match how good the setting is. Hamilton was responsive when we raised it. We'd still consider coming back for the lake alone.

The property was great, just as stated. Very comfy, yet stylish furnishings. The outdoor space was wonderful and where we spent most our time. We had everything we needed. The owner was great to work with allowing flexibility on our check-in and check out. I only took away 1-star on cleanliness because the “Man cave” which is where the 2nd bathroom is, could use a little TLC. We would recommend and would stay there again.

Great Time at the Lake!

We enjoyed our time at the lake house very much. It was clean & we found it to be exactly as advertised on the listing. The views were amazing & we loved fishing off of the dock & using the kayaks that were provided on site. Would definitely recommend 👍

Wonderful location!

Overall a great place to stay! Nice flat waterfront property, quiet neighbors, indoor games & puzzles to kayaks and ping pong for the outdoors. Ways your could enhance the property, pressure wash the exterior grounds of the home for better curb appeal and some upgraded pots and pans in the kitchen for ease of cooking would be appreciated. Thanks for a wonderful weekend away!

Lovely Lakehouse with Great Lake access

Perfect house for us, two adults and a dog. Great Lake access, the lake was quiet and beautiful. Nice quiet neighborhood and dock on the lake. Easy access to grocery store in Millegeville. WiFi was solid, all appliances worked. Bathrooms were clean. We would definitely rent this house on Lake Sinclair again.

Quiet Getaway

If you’re looking for a place to just relax this is your place! Was a little disappointed with it not being more secluded from other houses and we had to purchase pans for cooking due to limited ones there. Wish the 2nd bathroom would have been in the actual home, but we made it work.

Great place with an amazing view

This a great little place on the lake. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway, like we were, spending for a longer visit, this is a great house. It has great covered patio to relax and take in the view. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. If you are looking for a place to relax, fish, boat, or just enjoy being outside by the water, this a house to do it at. You do not have to ask me twice if I would ever come back!!! Me and my wife created some great memories of our anniversary weekend here!

Fun enough

We had a great time at this lake house but there's areas of improvement for sure. The last morning we were there a bug infestation hit the lake and it literally had millions of bugs in the water and all over the pier. It was wild! Luckily it wasn't that way the first and second days we were there.

Such a cool house!

This is such a unique property! It's beautifully decorated, and the arcade game, record player and ping-pong table were all hits with my kids. Plus the owner's kayaks were better than the ones we brought! The house is snug, but even with six kids and two adults we were very comfortable. Although I wish the second bathroom was connected to the house, "The Man Cave" may be my husband's idea of heaven! My only critique is that the house could have been cleaner, but the host and property were both great, so we gladly overlooked that one small issue.

Stay was OK

Property could use some TLC and a deep clean. Driveway under the carport was covered with GA red clay. Microwave didn't work and unfortunately we didn't find this out until after we spent money on microwave meals. Drip coffee pot was nasty so we bought a new one. I emailed the property manager point of contact about the microwave but never received a response.

Anniversary

We came to the lake for our anniversary. For the most part all was good. Most of things we just my personal preferences. Several of the lights were missing or were blown. The drain was slow to.drain. The AC was up high was very difficult to adjust temperatures. Other than those everything was nice. It was quite. Wish the fish were better biters but win aome loose some. Id stay here again

Nice home to stay in but not ideal

Overall we had a really good experience at this Lake Sinclair home. This rental checks most of the boxes, good location on the Lake, nice view, washer and dryer, nice back patio with ping pong table and seating, but only one indoor bathroom was inconvenient.Inside, the kitchen had most appliances, cookware and flatware but lacked a few basic necessities such as bowls and cutting knives. It met our needs but having one indoor bathroom and then the one other completely separate outdoor (though air conditioned) bathroom was aggravating especially at night as more than one person needed to shower. The house was clean but when we arrived we immediately saw two live roaches scurrying around and experienced many ants on the kitchen counter (obviously a recurring problem as there were ant traps behind the appliances) I would suggest a pest control service. The dock was serviceable for our needs. We docked our jet ski and we fished off the dock. However, both jet ski lifts were nonfunctional and some of the boards on the dock were rotten (my son who weighs 105 pounds almost fell through)Overall we enjoyed our stay but having only one bathroom inside is a deal breaker and will prevent us from renting this home again.

Overall, we had a good stay. The location and lake view were definitely the best part! The master bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen and living area were a nice size for everyone to spread out. The covered back porch was huge and a great place to relax, and there was plenty of parking out front for multiple vehicles and a boat trailer, which was really convenient.A few things could use some attention. The air vents throughout the house were very dirty, and the separate AC unit in the bedroom with all the windows was especially dirty—it looked like it may have mold or mildew inside. The exterior of the house could also use a good pressure washing, as it looked pretty dirty.Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but addressing those maintenance items would make the property even better.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The place was very cozy and well decorated. Interesting set up with one bathroom outside, but very clean and easy to use. Lots of things to do with games and kayaks and a great outdoor area. We rented a boat from Twin Lakes and had a great time on the water. Would definitely stay again.
