My family and I stayed here for a week with my mom’s dog. The home was so comfortable and we felt very comfortable there. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Communication with Charlotte was excellent. I would most definitely stay here again!

Our stay
The steps were a bit challenging for a couple ‘older’ ladies but the place was charming.
Adorable house with all the amenities. We had a great time. Comfortable beds and furniture. Great location. Everything we needed. Host was friendly and had great communication. Would love to stay here again.
This was a rustic cute home, plenty of room for our family, especially loved the 2 King size beds. Kiychen had everything we neededf or our weekend stay. Beautiful area.
We enjoyed our stay very much, and will definitely stay here again! Very clean, nice furniture. The neighborhood deer in the backyard was a nice surprise!
The was beautiful! We will differently try and book this home every time we go to SD. We got check early so it made enjoying our weekend there so much better!
From the moment we walked in the door all i could do was say, "WOW". It was so much better than any other place we have ever stayed at. I would recommend that anyone stay and experience it for yourselves!!!
Very clean home. A lot of stairs to get in home. Well stocked kitchen. Grill needed to be cleaned. Very cozy. Needed a few more towels. Limited parking. Very cool to see deer right on the property. My family had a great experience here.
We are returning guests! The home was clean, beautifully styled and decorated, and had every amenity we could think of! We stayed for 6 nights, cooked half our meals on-site and ate out the the other half. Great kitchen to cook in - plenty of options for cookware, stocked fridge, coffee bar. We parked behind the home in the alley because parking out front was generally blocked by residential parking. Worked wonderful! We met a young spike buck casually munching on the grass out back while we were hauling our cooler and picnic basket to the car. He didn't seem too intimidated by us! There was a front deck added since the last time we visited, and we were out there every morning! Stunning views of the historic homes and downtown. We walked to the Stampmill Restaurant one night, just a few blocks away. Definitely got our workout in as an after supper "cardio burn" when we walked the hill back up to the Dacotahaus! Fun memories made!We will return again!
The only contact information was an email. We sent a email prior to check-in to see if we could check in 30 minutes early to drop our bags off. We never got a response. We sent another email about the condition the house was in and didn't hear back until later the next day. The bedding was not clean, grass was high, food was left in the freezer, and coffee in the coffee pot. We couldn't use the washing machine because the musty smell was so strong. We had it booked for two nights and only stayed one. We have stayed at a lot of vrbos and have always had positive experiences. In fact, I have never put a negative response. The house itself was fine, but the condition and communication was not good.
