Beautiful views!The unit was clean except for the floors which were sticky from day one. I do not blame this on the Owners but on the cleaning crew.

Enjoyable 12 days at Island House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 8S was a great unit. Wonderful views of the ocean and sunset. High enough to dull noise. Quiet and private. Master bed comfy. Showers had great water pressure. Kitchen has pretty much anything you need. Some of the outlets and switches in the unit need replaced but nothing major. Office hours are inconsistent despite the listed hours. We were one of several people who couldn't seem to get the key lockbox to open. With all of that said, overall great stay and look forward to returning to Island House soon.

We spent most of our time in the screened-in porch in order to take in this view as much as possible. We were steps away from the beach.

Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at the Island House on the most magnificent beach in Florida! The unit was clean, the view from the lanai is spectacular. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed to do our cooking. Some of the cooking utensils and baking sheets need to be replaced, but that's minor. The one thing I would recommend is to upgrade the guest bedroom queen mattress. It is uncomfortably hard. The pillows were flat, but the woman in the office was so accommodating and found us better ones. The staff here is awesome. The pool area and outdoor space near the grills and beach are clean and well kept. I saw maintenance men always cleaning up the area. When we next come back to Siesta Key, I hope I can find a unit at the Island House!
