About this property
Molla Eco Lodge Kangaroo Valley
Molla Eco Lodge is ideally located midway between Kangaroo Valley and Berry with around a 10 minute drive to each village, Surrounded by lush farmland it has picturesque views of the surrounding mountains.
This converted barn has been stylishly recreated using recycled materials to make the perfect location for your next weekend getaway. The open plan living area is filled with light and has a comfy day bed where you can sit back and take in the stunning view or keep yourself warm in front of the slow combustion wood fire (firewood provided from May-September); there's also reverse-cycle air-conditioning.
Guests can also roast a marshmallow or enjoy a glass of wine while sitting under the stars next to the outdoor firepit.
Meals can be prepared in the kitchenette which has a portable electric cooktop, microwave, bar fridge and a nespresso coffee machine - some complimentary pods are provided. For guests that prefer to cook outside there is also a Weber gas BBQ.
The bedroom has a comfy queen bed and a large window which can be opened up to take in the views.
Complimentary wifi is provided but there is no TV so you will need to bring your own device if you would like to stream. Better still take the opportunity to disconnect from the outside world.
In an effort to be environmentally sustainable the Eco Lodge has solar power and a state of the art 'incinerating toilet'. It important that guests follow the instructions provided when using this.
Guests are also welcome to utilise the solar heated swimming pool and tennis court (tennis racquets provided) which are located near the main residence on the property. There is also a second accommodation (Watta Cottage) which is located near the main house which has access to these shared facilities.
The Eco lodge is totally separate and screened from the main house and cottage by trees so guests privacy is assured.
For those feeling a little more adventurous, there is also a bushwalk along a rainforest creek to a private waterfall located on the property. It is important that guests stick to the path at all times and take care as the track is steep and slippery in some places.
