Beautiful historical cabin nicely appointed. The views were spectacular with rolling hills. Mel and Henry we’re so accommodating and brought us fresh eggs from the chickens at the farm. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect getaway!
Bunkhouse, farm, farm tour, and scenic walks made for the perfect family getaway. The bunkhouse had everything needed for cooking Ovoka’s famed wagu steaks over a grill, and firewood for the fire pit. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway from DC. Thanks to Mel, Roy and Henry for the hospitality!
My family and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is nestled among beautiful rolling hills and had such a warm, inviting feel—it felt like a home away from home. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and we were honestly sad to leave.Traveling from Texas in our RV, we especially appreciated how helpful and communicative Karen was. She made it easy for us to figure out where to park, and everything went smoothly. We’ll most definitely be coming back!
If you have kids you'd like to unplug and let bike, fish, or feed farm animals, this is the place! The staff are so kind and friendly. They delivered us fresh eggs our first day! The ponds are stocked so bring rods. Our 9-year-old caught his first largemouth bass all on his own.
Also, George Washington stayed in a stone cottage out back. They set up a copy of his writing about it. We highly recommend this hidden gem!
