Cosy, welcoming cottage with freshly made bread and wood fired heater was the perfect place for us and our kelpie to stay. We loved watching the horses, cuddling the gorgeous dogs and walking the back roads into Mount Pleasant.

Wow... such a great find, the Cottage was very warm, friendly and inviting with a home away from home feel... Full of thoughtful touches, loved the choice of indoor or outdoor fire, perfect with the local Wine & Rockyroad ! Highly recommend and would love to stay again !

Pet friendly home base for exploring

Neat and tidy cottage located centrally to all that the Adelaide Hills and Barossa have to offer. We all enjoyed our stay. Both the humans and the dogs loved having the quiet space filled with nature and horses after a long day exploring the area. We will be back.

This is an amazing cottage it had everything we needed. The warm welcome with bread baking was a real treat. The views of the surrounding area were sensational and having the horses, birds and wildlife right on the doorstep gave us a relaxing and homely feel. It was lovely to have the log fire on the cooler evenings. This is a really relaxing place with a warm and welcoming homely feel. It is an absolutely fantastic property and provides everything needed for a relaxing escape. The breakfast provision was generous with everything on hand to fix a delightful start to your day. We had a fantastic time staying here and the bar has been set really high for future stays. Thank you for allowing us to stay, in this really great property.

Cosy Comfortable Cottage

Sherrie was a genuinely lovely host and was incredibly helpful and responsive. The breakfast items and sweets provided were very much appreciated and enjoyed. We didn’t use the separate bedroom, fire pit or the BBQ area, but we did enjoy the peace and quiet of the main cottage and all slept well in the beautifully made beds. Just to note, the bed frame in the main bedroom is taller than an average bed frame, so maybe bear that in mind if any guests have mobility issues. My parents, my small dog and I all enjoyed our stay and found the cottage to be a useful base to explore the nearby sites.
