Sunset Lodge - sleeps 4 plus 2 children. 2 ground floor ensuite bedrooms, double with wetroom, twin with bath. Upstairs play/bedroom with football table. Glorious countryside views from lounge and well equipped kitchen. Free Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, Ample off-road parking. B & B available. 15 minutes drive to Canterbury, Ashford, Folkestone. Lovely walking and cycling area. Good local pubs within walking distance.
Particulary good for discerning groups who want to stay in comfort with all mod cons and be surrounded by nature. Glamping for grownups, Lewana likes to call it.
We have 4 eco barns, Sunset Lodge, Apple Barn, Hazel Barn and Bumble Barn accommodating up to 21 guests, plus a cosy private cottage suite for 2.
Good pubs with food and music within walking distance. Footpaths galore through woods and fields on the doorstep, yet Canterbury, Folkestone, Hyhte, Ashford and Dover only 10 -20 minutes away.

Beautiful and peaceful location

Our whole family (3 adults and 2 teenagers) loved staying in Sunset Lodge. As the name suggests, the sunsets across the field were amazing. The property was clean, with lots of space and everything you need to relax and enjoy the countryside. Perfectly located between Canterbury and Folkestone, made it easy to enjoy everything Kent has to offer. Communication with the hosts was super easy and friendly, we would definitely recommend staying here, and will book again when we return to Kent.

Spacious, clean and comfortable stay

Six of us stayed at this particular property. The location is set in a beautiful location. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, we really appreciate all their help, right from the beginning of the booking till the end of our stay. The property was really clean, lots of space, lovely bathrooms, very comfortable beds. In the kitchen, all utensils were clean and well maintained. We will definitely return again and I highly recommend this accommodation.

Sunset Lodge, Stelling Minnis

The property is in a delightful rural location, quiet and with adequate privacy. Whilst the description "luxurious" is, of course, subjective, we felt that it was inappropriate for this property. It was comfortable enough (although we are not unerring fans of leather settees) but the ambience and furniture and fittings were, to our minds, prosaic (and perfectly functional) rather than luxurious. Perhaps tiled flooring throughout is soothingly cooling in a hot Mediterranean location, but it lacked a comforting and homely touch. That and high ceilings made the atmosphere tending towards an echo which did not help when listening to the sound from the television. The furniture, again, perfectly functional, was no more than that (e.g. pine tables and chairs etc.). None of the kitchen knives were sharp! The 'wild' nature of the garden did not appeal to our taste and perhaps this should have been emphasised in the property particulars. We had an enjoyable stay because of the glorious weather and the nature of the visits we made around and about but we would be more careful in scrutinising the property details in the future.

Lovely stay - great host and facilities. Fresh air in abundance and lots of beautiful views and walks. On a small farm with two other lodges but you still have some privacy. Great stay overall - would recommend for small families and couples/friend groups. Would stay again!

Super Getaway Location

We really enjoyed our stay, great location in the countryside with all the amenities that you would need, amazing views from the lounge over the fields. Excellent location for road cycling from the property, we would certainly stay there again.

Nice property in a good location

Stayed here for the long Easter weekend whilst visiting friends and family in East Kent. The property is surrounded by lovely countryside and has fantastic cycling and walking options from the door. Location was also great for getting around this part of Kent - a short drive to the coast and Canterbury with much to see and do. Property itself was ideal - good standard of accommodation, quiet, nice views, well equipped- just what we were after.
