Châtelet-les Halles / Etienne Marcel (Grande Truanderie) ID 289
The Forum des Halles is Paris's biggest and least pleasant shopping mall, although a facelift currently underway should improve matters. Extending three levels underground, it incorporates subway stations, multiplex, gym, swimming pool and numerous restaurants, and is truly labyrinthine. The Louvre Museum or the Seine River are accessible by a 10-15min walk.
The apartment is at the 4th floor of a very well maintained building freshly renovated with a red carpeted stair. It is secured with Digicode.
This 65 square meter unit offers a cozy interior with a wooden floor and exposed beams. Completely furnished and recently refurbished, it can accommodate up to 5 people. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed with attached shower room and toilette and the living room offers a convertible sofa bed for 2 persons. For a fifth single sponge bed can be added upon request to accommodate 5 people if necessary. There is also a second toilette at the entrance for people sharing the living room.
The Kitchen is very well equipped with quality kitchenware and appliances and the large dining table can accommodate up to 8 people at ease for you to play the best host away from home.
Stay connected with the world through the private high speed internet connection through cable and Wi-Fi and cable TV through a large Flat screen 3D Smart TV.

Located near everything we wanted and more. The apartment was small but had everything you might need/want to make your stay comfortable. Our host was EXTREMELY prompt in response to any questions we had. We’d be happy to book the same accommodation in the future and recommend it to friends!!
Great location with shops a restaurants very nearby. Apartment was clean and already set up for us (pull out couch made into bed), which I appreciated at the end of a long travel day. As others have mentioned, lots of stairs, but it’s clear in the listing.
Apartment location is great, right next to the Westfield and plenty of restaurant options. Considering how central it is, we were pleased that the property was quiet especially as its mainly pedestrianised outside. Perfect for our 3 day stay
Fantastic location, close to cafes, restaurants, shops, metro and so many sights. Apartment was clean and warm and Orlande was so responsive and helpful in greeting us even though we were delayed and arrived very late. Thank you.
We loved our stay at Chateau les Halles! The stairs were no problem at all and kept us fit during the stay. Perfect location and really appreciated the washing machine to keep the kids clothes clean. We will definitely be back to stay again- thankyou!!!!
The location was awesome. We knew it would be a smaller place then we are used to and prior reviews did have a warning about street noise. We didn't have an issue with the street noise. In fact the restaurants below gave it more charm. We had two adults and two teenagers. The teenagers shared the pull out couch bed. Everything was clean and there was plenty of dishes and appliances for cooking. All the plumbing worked!! We used the washing machine a few times which was great. I would recommend this place with the caveat that there a lot of stairs (we knew that when we booked). We had a great stress free vacation and made good use of the kitchen when we were too tired to go out to a restaurant.
Super welcoming and helpful! Our hosts made sure we were settled in the apartment and answered all of our questions. This apartment was located in the most perfect neighborhood- easily accessible by many metro lines, walking distance from tons of restaurants and shops, so clean and spacious! We will be back!!
Our family of four had a great time exploring Paris from this apartment. Some amazing food right outside the door, very quiet even while in the middle of the city. Was a great stay.
It was a wonderful stay. Great location with tons of restaurants, close to metro and walkable to many attractions. Hosts were accommodating and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Paris.
Good sized space with everything you need. Several terraces right outside, this place is on the top floor of a beautiful old building. Easy access to everything. The 101 steps are something to be aware of, but offer lovely views and you can fall asleep at night to the pleasant buzz from the terraces far below
A perfect location for us. We especially enjoyed our day on a self-guided tour of the Marais. The apartment was very comfortable...and quiet. We got used to the 100 steps. Indeed, they might have helped us, because we left Paris to walk the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location is great! Communication with the hosts stopped about a day or so before our stay and we only had a local number. She spoke only French, which was fine for us someone in our group did, but relying on Google translate could prove difficult for some. The apartment was clean but could use some attention. There were lots of extra pieces of furniture and you couldn’t open the wardrobes properly, getting in and out of them was bothersome.Plenty of towels and blankets (maybe it’s a thing not to have duvet covers?). It was bright, warm, and airy! The location was great for connecting to other parts of the city. Such a plus! Thanks again for the stay :)
Highly recommend this vrbo! The location was perfect, bars and restaurants and shops surrounding us, close to many metro stations made travel super easy. Keep in mind, it is 100 steps up to the apartment, but you get used to it! Great place and host was very helpful.
Great location, great communication. Place is nice, the stairs can feel a bit daunting after a day of walking but more room for an extra pain au chocolat! Really appreciated the professionalism of our host!
This Vrbo was spacious, well supplied with cooking gear, and an incredible location! The location was very central, and right next to the metro. The lighting was good and high ceilings made the place feel open. It was the perfect place for my friends and I on our visit to Paris😁
The department was spacious and as advertised. It is in a great location next to Metro, RER. The only thing to mentioning is that there are about 100 steps to climb to get up to the apartment. Many sites within walking distance.
We had a comfortable stay at Chatelet les Halles. Check-in was with a French-speaker using a translation app which worked fine. As per the listing there's no lift access so be prepared for the stairs - that was fine for our family. We liked the convenience of the area for getting around Paris and for easy access to shops etc. Beds were comfortable with 2 of us sleeping on one double bed in the bedroom and the other two on the sofa bed in the living room. We liked the views over the rooftops.
I've stayed in the apartment about a month, and it has been a huge pleasant experience. The flat is comfortable and near to Centre Pompidou and other top sites of Paris.
