Little Beach - a bungalow that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Little Beach is a traditional holiday bungalow situated just yards from the beach, mid-way between Springvale and Seaview, in the popular East Wight. Seaview village centre is just a 5 minute, walk along the stunning seawall and offers local shops, pubs, restaurants and yacht club. Adjacent to the complex is The Hersey Nature Reserve with wildlife pond and marshes ideal for bird watchers.

Little Beach bungalow offers comfortable accommodation opposite a wonderful, family friendly beach. It has two comfortable bedrooms, wet-room and open plan lounge, kitchen and diner. The private decking area, with seating, is ideal to sit and relax taking in the evening sun. Children can run around on the communal grassed area directly in front of the bungalow. Take your tea and drinks to the beach and enjoy the stunning sunsets Seaview is famous for.

The stunning beach is particularly family friendly. At low tide one can explore the shallow rockpools, enjoy cricket and games on the extensive soft sands or simply relax in the sun. High tide is a popular time for swimming with steps into the sea and only a few feet deep it's great for canoeing and paddle boarding.

Walk along the sea wall passing the long sandy beaches of Appley will take you to the Victorian town of Ryde, the second major town on the Island. Puckpool park is nearby with a children's playground, ‘pitch and putt' and popular tea gardens. Within 10 mins walk The Boat House & The Old Fort are family friendly pubs, with good ales and food and stunning sea views.

Walk east along the coastal path for 20 mins to the spectacular ‘Priory Bay' – an oasis of calm overlooking the Solent.

The Beach Lodge is ideally situated to explore all the Isle of Wight has to offer.

Great place to stay

Little Beach was a delight to stay at for me & my daughter’s holiday. Whilst there is limited things to do at Seaview, there is a nature reserve and great places to eat. It’s also a lovely walk to Ryde. Little Beach has everything you need, although if both single beds were used it could be a little cramped in that bedroom. The kitchen is well laid out and has everything you need in plentiful supply. The adjoining lounge area would be spacious enough for four people, although there was only two of us so ample space. The shower room/toilet is quirky in that it is an ensuite to the double bedroom, but accessible also from the kitchen! The location is quiet and just a few steps away from the seafront and views over The Solent to Portsmouth, nighttime views are quite spectacular. In all we had a great holiday on the IoW and are stay at Little Beach. Thank you.

Little Beach. Salterns beach bungalows.

Wonderful location. Comfortable. great shower room. Tv freeview reception poor but great internet. Had to do a bit of light dusting and bedroom floor needed a vacuum. Unfortunately dishwasher was broken when I tried to use it. A week of hand washing but wouldn't have used much anyway. Dearer than similar properties.

First time holiday to the Isle of Wight

The cottage was compact but served well as a base from which we could venture out to see the island. The matress in the main bedroom was a little on the soft side for us and we couldn't get any channels on the TV for those evenings when there was thinder and heavy rains. Once we had managed to clarify what was where we managed to do everything we needed to do. The coastal walks were lovely and managed to walk to Ryde and back as part of my daily exercise routine more than once. Managed to see some of the attractions in the area but not enough time to do all the things we set out to do, a reason for coming back in the future. Overall our stay was relaxing and peaceful. Just what the doctor ordered.

Lovely holiday chalet just off seafront

We had a lovely week on the Isle of Wight. Little Beach was a pleasure to come back to everyday, the beds are comfy and everything we needed provided for a weeks holiday. Great to have outdoor space too. We had a small problem with the shaver point in bathroom but that was sorted promptly.
