Great location and host very flexible and helpful. Living space is in the roof area (with skylights) and a downstairs wet room so not ideal in really hot spells or for people with physical limitations.
Stunning area but wish we stayed in tent... Only stayed on the Thursday night (due to stay Friday also) but the overpowering smell of dog urine dognwas too much g

Although we are dog friendly, we do ensure that all of of properties are thoroughly cleaned between guests. Neither the guests that stayed immediately before, or immediately after this guest noticed any odours. Nor did we, nor our cleaner. What we did however have on that day was our farming neighbour spraying chemical fertiliser on the fields immediately adjacent to our property. That does unfortunately have a strong odour that normally dissipates within a day. Our property is in a lovely spot, but living in the countryside isn't always rosy.
We were very comfortable here, and it was a joy to open the curtains each morning to see moorhens and pheasants just below on the lane, and the pretty pond. Being surrounded by fields meant it was lovely and quiet, and an ideal place from which to see meteor showers. No luck with aurora borealis, but you can't have everything! The cottage is fully equipped with everything for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.
Perfect accommodation for a short break. Upstairs is decorated to a good standard in modern style. Everything you need. Kitchen/lounge/diner area. Very cosy and relaxing. Quite big bedroom with double bed and comfortable mattress. Downstairs at bottom of stairs is the toilet and a wet room with shower and under floor heating. Lovely and warm and nice decor. We used the accommodation for a two night stay so we could visit family nearby. Absolutely ideal. Just friendly and helpful. Thank you.
