Poor, insufficient accommodation if travelling as a large family.
Checking in all OK, although immediately met with many, many cobwebs around the covered framework and doors/windows of the covered lobby. Did not give much encouragement as to what we would find inside! Seating, both lounge and dining, insufficient for the 8/9 guests it was booked for. We could not all sit on the sofas in the evening - the sofas AT A PUSH, would only sit 3 each, if including 1 child on each sofa. We had 4 adults and 4 children - definitely not suitable. The beds had diabolical mattresses on them (if they can even be called mattresses)being so thin. The so called pillows were a perfect match!! The toaster did not have a test sticker on it, and unfortunately gave 3 members of our group a nasty electric shock on 4 different occasions. This was addressed by the office immediately the next day, but could have been avoided with the correct testing procedure. Insufficient crockery prevented all members of the family having a hot drink on arrival - only 2 mugs and 2 large cups (1 badly stained) were there. A member from Toms office brought a new pack of 4 mugs at the end of the day which got us by - just. Tin opener did not work - totally useless - should just be thrown away. TV on arrival did not work - maintenance person came to rectify it the following day. Shower upstairs packed up, therefore no hot water in the shower. The plumbers came the following morning and managed to get us going, but said that it was “knackered”, - we were unable to change the temp.

First Cornwall Holiday
This was our first experience of a holiday in the UK , The resort was in a lovely location and it had a few facilities for the children. Parking was difficult as it was busy, but we managed. We walked to our chalet , the chalets we past on the way look very well kept and clean on the outside. When we arrived at ours it was covered in spiders webs , the bench and picnic table outside had not even been wiped. As we entred , it seemd like they had new carpets,. Bathrom downstair was great for me as i cannot climb stairs. Kitchen surfaces where clean , fridge was clean , but freezer was not. The next day in the day light , we found the balcony had not been cleand at all full of dirt and spiderwebs , there was rust on the chairs , and no covers where available to be able to sit on them. The shower they had not deep cleaned for at least a year , the same in the rooms behind the beds , or under the beds ,it was dirty again months or years of dirt , In between the sofa cushions they had not cleaned , there was biscuits and crumbs hairs .... Bannisters you could see there was where and tair , that is fine , except they had not been cleand or disinfected, the was chewing gum and there was dirt on them . There was no vacumn cleaner , and the dust pan was dirty too. We called the managent and complained , they did come an leave a vacumn cleaner for us , and allegedly asked then to clean the outside and tbe balcony, however a child could have done better.
