It was a comfortable apartment to stay in and its location was great. It wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed but suitable for our brief stay. The WiFi is rubbish and keeps cutting out all the time.
Location is amazing, perfect spot to explore Florence, with lots to see right outside and restaurants everywhere. Host was responsive, which was great. We had a lot of issues with the wifi and the dryer did not work. Outside the windows were scaffolding and alleyways- not a good view. Apartment had a strange layout and a laundry/storage room right in the center full of random things. Overall a good stay.
We loved our stay at Piazza della Signoria art apartment. The apartment is just like the pictures. The location is absolutely perfect! Everything is so close! Filippo was a terrific host, quick to respond to any questions. I needed some dental help and he even helped me figure that out. I would stay here again!
What a perfect location for visiting Florence! Unfortunately the elevator was not working when we were there but it was an easy 2 flights of stairs. The unit was even bigger than it looks in the photos which was perfect for our family. I really cannot say enough great things about the location, I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else.

Wonderful location to access all the sites easily-lots of space to move around and loved having a fully equipped kitchen. We arrived in the evening and had a little trouble with getting into the building but the rest of check in was easy. The washer door would not open unfortunately while we were there, so we had to tote our clothes to a local laundromat. Otherwise-excellent stay!

The location is excellent. The property looks just like the photos. Nice place. We asked the owner to come out to help with the problems and he said he would come out and never did. Problems; -could not get into property from street - after ringing the bell and no one answering, we contacted host who told us to ring all the doorbells in the building. After standing there a quite awhile we conracted the host and his response was “that’s strange, usually some one answer the ring. We were finally let in to the building by someone coming into the building. Once inside building we couldn’t get the key to work in the apt. door. We left the door unlocked the whole time we were there bks we couldn’t open the door with the key. It took almost an hour to get in. -washing machine did not work. Leaked out bottom. -air conditioner was dripping water. So much so that it was soaking the floor and we had to mop it up several times a day.
This apt is in a fantastic location just a few blocks from the Ponte Vecchia and basically walkable to everything Florence has to offer. The apt is in need of a few things, a deep clean for one. The beds are extremely firm. The sheets and pillows were fine but the blankets/top covers were not great. The king room has a new duvet you can use but with no cover, the smaller bed has a decrepit bedspread from the 80's that didn't look clean but without it all you have is a sheet. The lights of Florence shine through the filmy curtains all night so bring an eyemask. The kitchen has seen better days. The couch was filthy and the fix was to put a blanket over it. The elevator/lift worked from the main floor up but there was no knob on the lift to go back down from the apt. It wouldn't have been an issue if I wasn't traveling with my mother who has some mobility issues. Check in was easy, the location easy to find. For the host, this was a property that with a few $ and a deep clean could be much nicer than it was. I would not have wanted to stay here longer than the 3 days that we did.
