Welcome to our house by the creek! We hope you enjoy your time relaxing by the babbling creek. The house has been completely renovated with upgraded amenities for your comfort and enjoyment.

The cabin is located in Christopher Creek, just under 2 hours from Phoenix, AZ, nestled in the scenic Rim Country just outside of Payson, AZ. Come enjoy a relaxing weekend or weekly getaway. For the nature lover, fill your days with the many outdoor adventures close by or kick back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of Christopher Creek, as it runs right off the back deck.

The stone fireplace is the main feature in the kitchen/family room. Two bedrooms are located off the family room area. The downstairs master bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom. The upstairs master bedroom also offers a king bed and a full bathroom. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds and a full bathroom right across the hall. The bonus room has a bunk bed (twin over full).

The kitchen is well equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, glassware and basic provisions such as seasonings, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Home also features a washer and dryer.

Relax and enjoy the large deck overlooking scenic Christopher Creek. Read a book, nap in a lounger or sit around and play cards at the table.

Outside you will find a fire pit and a large gas grill.

Fully furnished with all amenities , bedding, towels, and WiFi.

If you don't feel like cooking while on vacation there is are 2 great restaurants just 1/2 mile away.

Throughly enjoyed ourselves here over the weekend there is plenty of room for the kids to play and sitting out side at dinner time with the family was awesome under the patio we had the grill going lights on and then played games afterwards , end the night with a movie.

This home is absolutely amazing! We were in Christopher Creek for a family reunion. Christopher Creek has been our 2nd home since I was 5 years old (I'm now 56!) My mom and sister both have places at the mobile home park, and we rented the VRBO for my family to stay as we had a lot of people in our group.All bedrooms and bathrooms are pristinely clean and comfortable. Kitchen is big and has everything you need to cook up something spectacular. The huge deck sits on the babbling creek, and if it's rainy, you can sit under the large cover and enjoy in comfort! BBQ grill is large and extra propane is provided if needed. We were unable to use the firepit due to fire restrictions, but it is large and there is wood provided. Plenty of parking. Friendly neighbors, too!We had Elk visit us every day, just meandering and munching their way through the neighborhood, calm as could be.Kevin is a great communicator and answered all messages promptly. Excellent host!We would love to come back and stay here again. It was perfect.

The location was lovely. We enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the creek. Even had the elk walk by and grazed out in the front yard. The cabin is well stocked. Welcome instructions were detailed and clear. This was a girlfriend's trip. We all said that the Cake Creek Cabin would be a great place to bring our families to.

Easy to drive to (no steep hills), we walked and explored all of Christopher Creek from the house, we all loved the porch and homey feeling of the house and only 15-20min to Woods Canyon lake. We will definitely be staying again.

We couldn’t imagine a more perfect place for our mini family reunion. Not only was there ample space for everyone, all of our needs - and wants - were anticipated. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bathrooms clean and updated, the beds were comfortable, and the deck on the creek was a little piece of heaven. We even had a visit from the local elk! Our time went too fast and we were all sad to leave. We consoled ourselves by promising to return. Thanks, Kevin, for being such a great host!

Perched right above the creek, this roomy house/cabin was perfect for our stay. Inside was clean and comfortable...(suggest a few lamps and a side table or two, be added by the sofas); Having three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom was great; parking was easy, deck was large and would be a great party place. We didn't use the game room with bunk beds, but that space would be great for families with children. Suggest the instructions to not lock the entry door be highlighted so guests really understand how it works. Suggest one entry have a ramp available to assist those using a walker. And, suggest marking the edge of the outside stairs with reflecting tape or paint so they're more visible at night would be an added safety measure. Would we go there again? Yes!
