Our first visit to Rome, highly recommend!!

My wife and I stayed here for our first time visiting Rome, and we loved it! Benedetta was great to communicate with—timely responses, and flexible for our check-in time. Our flight arrived in the morning, and we were able to check in early and drop our bags before exploring the city. The apartment was cozy and comfortable. Air conditioned. My favorite part is the location. Right next to the Piazza Novena, with beautiful statues, fun people-watching, and plenty of restaurants. We walked to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Colosseum & Roman Forum. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while visiting Rome!

The owner was great at communicating and the location was perfect for access to local markets, however it is NOT recommended for anyone seeking a quiet night’s stay, or an inability to climb the 70 steps up to the room (no lift option). The night life of the area is loud until the restaurants close, or when they open and empty the (glass bottle) trash.

about the steps…is clearly written in the description of the apt.! exactly to warn any people with physical impediments!!! no need to underline. well you are in the center of the city. of course there is night life around. but the apt. is on the 4th floor. quite high..so it sounds a little exaggerating. but thank you anyhow

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay in Rome, walking nearly everywhere. Delicious restaurants right there, so many, and shopping. And wonderful sights. Anything that is not within walking distance is easily accessible by bus. Be aware that this apartment is three levels up, no elevator. We did not mind that, but it is good to know. The apartment itself is sweet and simple with everything you need and nothing that you don’t. Exactly as described. We didn’t take advantage of the terrace as we were there in January, but it is a lovely spot. Benedetta was waiting for us when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. All good.

What a fantastic stay in an unbeatable location with an incredible host. It was important to us to be working with a person rather than an agency and we were so happy to have met Benedetta. She's friendly and kind and communicated the whole way through, made sure we could reach her if there were any problems, and had a ton of recommendations in the area. The apartment itself is more than enough room for a couple. Plenty of light all around with lots of windows to open for fresh air or air conditioning if you prefer, and shutters if you like to sleep in. Kitchen and bath have all the amenities needed with a full sized fridge/freezer, coffee, dish and hand soap, shampoo, and the washing machine is a huge help for those staying a bit longer (no dryer, so be prepared to hang dry). We didn't find it noisy at all, especially compared to some of the other stays we've had in Rome - it faces into a small back street with very little traffic and only the occasional conversation reaching our ears. As a reminder it does say in the description that it's on the 4th floor (5th for North Americans) and there's no lift. The stairways are wide and well lit with railings and we didn't mind the extra bit of exercise.The crown jewel is the terrace - private and spacious, and on an interior courtyard making it very quiet and perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. This is my fifth stay in Rome and I'll be keeping this place pinned for my next trip. Thanks Benedetta!

Not good experience

We have been bothered with host messages all the time The place was not very comfortable to sleep to noisy I haven't sleep at all She also send someone to our apartment while we were not there First she said she forgot something then was emergency for water she asked me paid extra money cash I left already $20 extra cash for housekeeping I was not comfortable with this stay at all I have to carry all my document because of their surprising visits????

hahahaha…those guests! amazing! they made a reservation for 2 people but they where 3 without saying anything. my housekeeper did the check in and she informed me. i kindly said they should have make a reservation for 3 people and not only 2. they answered it’s just my little daughter ( at least 18) and she sleeps with us. NOT true! as my housekeeper gave them extra sheets and towels of course. i went into the apt as i completely didn’t trust those people and of course the sofabed was done and used. such liars! so then i have asked just to give 30€ per night for extra guests..so 90€ for 3 nights .they said no problem but at the end they just left living nothing and also they kept the keys. unbelievable. anyhow i did inform vrbo. those people are dangerous!
