Check in instructions were easy to follow and the host was very responsive. We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate to book again. The hot tub was clean and pet friendly was definitely a bonus.

We had such a lovely time at the cabin. The property is awesome and the surrounding area is all that we love about our home state. Make sure to check out Waterfall park in Newland for an unexpected adventure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. Our dogs loved running off leash across the 100 acres. Very quiet and secluded. Pond has some good fishing (blue gill and smallmouth). James (host) was great at communicating when I had questions. Would absolutely book this property again.

1st time we have been alone like that in a very long time. It was wonderful. My wife feared the road in and I loved it. We found enough things to see and do near by, but loved the alone time the best.

Jim was a great host. The cabin was clean and homey. Any questions that I had he quickly had a response. The land is more beautiful than I even have words to describe. Whatever you do make sure you don't forget to look up stars. Couldn't have asked for a clearer night or a better view. And I definitely recommend 4wheel drive. Will definitely be looking to stay again in the future.

We loved our stay and the property was perfect. Beautiful, secluded, private, lots of space to roam. The host was extremely responsive and the cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Perfect place for some much needed R&R. Our dogs loved their freedom and room to roam. Highly recommend for time to relax and enjoy nature. We hope to stay here again soon!

We had a great time and really enjoyed the peace and quite. We enjoyed coffee on the porch each morning and got to see deer, rabbit, humming birds and a wild turkey. It had all the comforts of home including a charcoal grill that we used. I was happy to disconnect from wi-fi a few days and just enjoy the outdoors. The stocked pond was just a short walk and we caught a couple fish. Our 2 dogs loved the big yard to run around and play, I would definitely go back again.

The cabin is as it states. The road up is a 4 wheel drive rd as they state. Hot tub was perfect. Everything worked and lots of kitchen pots, pans, dishes etc. pond is so pleasant and know that there are other properties all over the place tucked in. Really enjoyed our rustic stay.

The fan in the back bedroom ceiling fan makes noises all night long had to go buy a fan to stay cool up there spiderwebs in the back bathroom the other bedroom the light on the ceiling fan wouldn’t turn on or off

This was an absolutely wonderful vacation spot if you want to get away, unplug and not be disturbed. It is not an ideal spot if you have a car because the drive way up is steep, rocky and trench laden...maybe a few photos of that part of the trip would be helpful to prospective travelers. But Jim tells about that once you're on your way. My hubby abd I would definetly return because it was exactly the tranquility that and sensory unwind that we were hoping for and needed.
