It was perfectly peaceful and clean. A nice rustic cabin just as I imagined in. Was startling when the black walnuts fell on the roof but got used to it after a day. Overall great property and was just as relaxing as I could have hoped.
Charming secluded cabin in the woods, everything we wanted, we would stay there again. The deer and fawn in the front yard grazing was a nice touch, thank you.
Great getaway. Only complaint is the river is said to be less than a minute walk, but there is no access from the cabin to the river. Overall, it’s was a great experience.
Perfect stay, cabin had everything you could need for your stay. Definitely read the recommendations for a 4 wheel drive vehicle but would definitely stay again if we ever return to the Asheville area. June was a great host!
We had an incredible stay! Great for relaxing; also drivable to plenty to do for day-tripping. A great setting to unplug and recharge. Cozy, nicely decorated, and host was very informative up front, as well as clear directions/notes/tips throughout the cabin. There were no surprises on what to expect or what was needed to have the perfect stay. There was rain everyday, but not an issue- we enjoyed just being in the space and slowing down. Loved the birds, saw deer and rabbits, as well as a couple turkeys running around! We had our toddler who also loved the space and sights as well. Thank you for sharing your cabin- we hope to be back!
Had a great visit at the cabin. My daughter had a recruiting trip at UNC-Asheville. Loved the area! June was wonderfull to communicate with and responded to all our questions. The loft area is a great space to relax and had fun watching NCAA tournament!! Thanks for a great visit.
This property is wonderful. We were looking for some privacy, yet close and convenient to Asheville, and this cabin fit our needs perfectly. From the front porch, we could catch glimpses of the French Broad River, and we could hear the water moving over the rocks and ledges. The kitchen is small but effecient and adequate. Beds are very comfortable. We spent a lot of time sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs. Hot tub appears to be fairly new, was well maintained and quite relaxing. We would recommend this property for couples looking for private space.
Gorgeous cabin, very rustic and beautifully decorated. Efficient heating system, stunning fireplace, amazing views off the back porch. Hot tub was a great bonus, over all the property is very well maintained and amazing stay. Kitchen with many amenities including cooking utensils, spices and seasonings, pots and pans. We had a great stay, would love to stay again!
We decided to go on our family vacation in the mtns this year instead of the beach. The cabin was beautiful. Just as expected. We had a great trip and hope to be back.
I stayed at this cabin with my two teens while visiting family near by. The cabin was about ten minutes from family and just what we needed. It has all the amenities, hot tub and washer and dryer were a plus! It is peaceful and serene and off the beaten path, yet within a 30 min. drive to downtown Asheville or the Biltmore.
This is the perfect little cabin for a peaceful, secluded getaway. The French Broad River rushes just below the cabin. The hot tub is clean, well maintained and has an amazing view. The cabin is quaint but perfectly appointed and very clean with every cooking utensil needed in the kitchen. The hammock was an added, unexpected bonus! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back!
Beautiful property with a rustic and comfy-cozy cabin that is perfect for a long weekend get-away. the driveway is a bit rugged (especially after rain) so take seriously the requirement for an AWD/4WD car.
We really enjoyed our visit to this unique, rustic cabin in the wooded area of Alexander, NC near Asheville. You can hear the French Broad river rushing over rocks while sitting on the front porch. The cabin had all the amenities needed for our stay. A very relaxing setting and beautifully surrounded by nature.
Beautiful space! Such a cozy cabin, absolutely perfect for a few days. The property is very secluded and peaceful, but only 15 minutes from downtown AVL. Hot tub was dope. June is a wonderful human, very communicative, and gave us great recommendations. Would 100% stay here again!
