We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the cabin. The close proximity to hiking and mountain biking trails was ideal for us and saved us a lot of driving time. Our dog loved exploring the fenced property.

The R5 is my favorite place to stay. Love the location, the cabin and the easy access to the park trails, which I and my 2 Goldens enjoy daily. I will definitely be back again and again!

Absolutely beautiful property. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from NAU. We were a little worried about the distance but it was not a bad drive at all. We will certainly consider renting in the future!

We went up to Flagstaff for elk hunting and found a great cabin for our crew! Very clean home, lots of parking for vehicles and it was close to our hunt area.Thank you for a great stay!

Enjoyed being out in the country! Gorgeous area, but if you’re looking for something a little closer to town, this isn’t the place for you. We absolutely loved being off grid. Definitely was able to unwind.

We loved our stay! The cabin was cozy and beautiful. I’ve never been in such a well-stocked rental and all the supplies made it feel as welcoming as home. We are clean-freaks and this home more than met our standards. Beds and furniture are comfortable. We loved lounging on the porches and enjoying the views! The location can’t be beat if you’re looking to be close to nature and the fenced yard increased our feeling of safety. We stayed Oct 6-10 and the changing of the leaves was at peak beauty! The only less-than-ideal thing was that the cold water on the bathtub doesn’t work and the hot water is too hot to bathe in, so (in my opinion) the tub is unusable. The only other shower is upstairs which was difficult for my elderly mother. Also, the max temp on the thermostat is too cold for our comfort zone so we had a fire going most of the time, but that kept us cozy.Everything considered, we had a lovely stay and can’t wait to return!

A Hidden Gem in the Mountains

We really enjoyed our stay at R5 cabin. The cabin is clean and spacious, the decor is woodland themed, with a modern kitchen. We would definitely stay again!

Seclusion paradise.

Amazing cabin! We had a relaxing vacation with family and the snowfall made it perfect. Made the right call taking the 4 x 4. Great views and walking trails everywhere.

What a magical cabin

This cabin was so magical. It has an amazing rustic vibe and was incredibly cozy. My husband and I rented the cabin for a week and it was one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. Would be a great place to stay with family or kids. The loft area was so cool.

Love this place!

Was green and beautiful and flowers in bloom. Cooled off from Phoenix heat. So peaceful and so great for my dogs. Great neighbors too! Have stayed here many times and will be back. Host is fantastic!

The entire cabin was filthy. I had to scrub out refrigerator before I could put any food away. This is visible, obvious dirty. I had to scrub the kitchen before I could cook. The master shower was also dirty.

Amazing Location!

My friends and i stayed here for a week and had the time of our lives. The cabin is awesome and the country around the property is beautiful. The road to the cabin is well maintained and fairly easy to get to, even with snow on the ground. We definitely are planning to come back some time!

Another great stay

Love this property so much. Probably 4th trip to the R5 Cabin. Peaceful, beautiful, next to the National Park and gorgeous hiking trails. Deer, birds, squirrels, and the sounds of nature every morning. Fantastic!
