I have been hosting and offering holiday accomodation for over 15 years.
I really enjoy providing a beautiful unique holiday experience that creates a lasting memory for visitors.

Why they chose this property

I personally have a great love for history and historical properties.
The Toll House is one of the finest looking houses in Berwick upon Tweed.
I had looked at this house for many years as a lot of people do on passing before I purchased it.
The view across the road to the Castle and and river is one of the finest views in England.
That too is the reason I bought the house.

What makes this property unique

It's history and beauty
It is one the finest Toll Houses built.
It is unusual in that it managed traffic of two roads.
One being the famous Great North Road
It's site occupies the North End of Berwick Upon Tweed and the approach from the Scottish border.
The house will be open for the Heritage open days this year and research is revealing more and more about its history.
It is even looking likely that the property was built from Stone from the old Castle.
