Perfect South Maui Ocean View Condo
Just posted new lower summer rate for my wonderful Kihei Akahi, 1 bedroom / 1 bath, ocean view condo. It is clean and quiet with an ocean view from the lanai. Remodeled and professionally decorated in a Hawaiian style with artwork from local artists, you'll find everything you need to relax. So come immerse yourself in the Aloha spirit of Maui and enjoy life.
The condo is perfect for special people like you who enjoy the luxury of having that first cup of coffee sitting on the lanai, watching the changing colors of the sky and ocean, smelling the scent of plumeria and listening to the birds sing. Or enjoy a Maui sunset sipping a Mai Tai before a romantic moonlight walk on the beach.
A fully equipped kitchen allows you to make your favorite meals if you choose to cook or you can walk a short distance to some of the best restaurants and shops in Kihei. Wailea is just a five minute drive for shopping and restaurants too.
Located on the 4th floor of the C building in Kihei Akahi, just 100 yards from the soft sands and warm waters of Kamaole Beach II, where you can relax on the beach, snorkel, boogie board or body surf. The wonderful tropical breeze naturally cools the condo when the windows are open. And it's not near the elevator so you'll enjoy a quiet restful sleep.
The unit has beach towels, mats, umbrella, chairs and cooler for your use. If you enjoy walking, a path along the beach connects to the Wailea resort area. There is an activity desk at the complex to help you schedule activities such as luau's, Molokini trips, etc. Since I live close-by, I have a guest book with some of my favorite Maui activities and restaurants, snorkeling spots, and beaches too.
The Kihei Akahi tennis and pickle ball court opens at 7:00am so you can get in that early morning game. Golf is available at one of 6 world class courses within 5-10 minutes drive.
I pride myself in maintaining the condo with very high standards with regard to aesthetic appeal and cleanliness. There is no smoking within the condo or on the lanai. No pets are allowed.

Why they chose this property
I purchased this Kihei Akahi condo because it is located at the best beaches in Maui and is just a mile from Wailea. Wailea is the upscale resort in South Maui where there is world class golf and tennis, fine dining, and the Shops at Wailea. But while Wailea is so close, it is also expensive. At Kihei Akahi I found excellent accommodations at a faction of the cost so my guests could spend more time enjoying all that Maui offers. And some of the best restaurants and shopping are within walking distance!
What makes this property unique
The condo includes beach gear - umbrella, towels, ice chest, boogie boards, snorkel, mask and flippers. And having a washer/dryer in the unit allows you to pack light and possibly forego the luggage fee on your trip.
I enjoy helping guests get the most from their Maui experience. I am happy to give restaurant tips, recommendations on activities, and information on some of the best snorkel spots. As a member of the Kihei Canoe Club, I enjoy inviting guests to join me for a morning paddle in an outrigger canoe.
