Overall, the condo, C-406 at Kīhei Akahi is a little dated, but comfortable. The view of the ocean was great from the lanai. We arrived after hurricane Lowell so, it was a hot and humid. AC in the bedroom would have been quite helpful, as the cool air from the AC located in the living room doesn’t quite reach the bedroom even when using fans.

Location is great - just across the road from the beach & park! Barney was very accommodating- from giving us ideas on what to see and also providing beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, etc!

Our host, Berney, was very accommodating for early check-in & helped us with the process of ending our stay early due to severe weather. The location was perfect for access to the beach & lots of eateries, grocery stores etc. Berney's communication was excellent & very helpful. Great host!

We loved our stay at Berney's condo. It felt like home the minute we walked in and it was very well equipped. Included is all the beach gear you need. The lanai offered beautiful views of the ocean and spectascular sunsets.Looking forward to returning.

Berney’s place was very clean and cozy, have nice balcony ocean view to watch sunset. The kitchen has everything you needed for quick meals, saved us lots of time and money, we got to enjoy local poke with our own freshly cooked rice. No AC in the bedroom, but if you open the window in bedroom and the living room, breeze make it comfy to sleep. Maui had tons of drain flies recently, Berney was very responsive for any issue.

A perfect host!

This was a great place to stay for a vacation in Hawaii! It's in a central part of Kihei, but quiet, close to the beaches, a great restaurant, Bernie provides everything you need, thoughtful and useful touches throughout the apartment.everything you need.

Great location, clean condo for good price

I was looking for a place that was in South Kihei near the beach that was clean and a good price since I pretty much just wanted to eat dinner and sleep there. This condo definitely delivered that and Berney was very helpful with check in and a late check out.
