The Chalet at Patricia's Place is a splendidly renovated log cabin that is nestled atop a private cove in Maggie Valley. Spectacular views await you at this tranquil retreat, yet it is still conveniently located within minutes of the many attractions in Maggie Valley including the Cataloochee Ski Area and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is only a 30 minute drive from Asheville, North Carolina.

Enjoy rocking on your chair or grilling on the deck while you marvel at the 180 degree mountain views and take in the mountain air. This chalet-style cabin is equipped with many modern amenities, such as heated tiled bathrooms with a glass shower, jet tub, and its own sauna, a wood burning stove fireplace, ceiling fans, comfortable beds with luxury mattresses, updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a covered parking area. Enjoy Spectrum 1 Gig high speed internet service with cable channels and streaming services.

Perfect romantic getaway for two. Relax in the cabin or adventure out to the many exciting attractions that are within 30 minutes of the home: The Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort and Ranch, Harrah's Casino in Cherokee, Elk Watching, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, The Wheels of Time Museum, Lake Junaluska, and Downtown Waynesville.

Because the property is on a mountain, we are not responsible for weather-related access to the chalet. During winter months, we strongly recommend taking a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the cabin. Parking for a trailer is not available. Motorcycles are restricted on the property, and no trailering vehicles allowed due to access issues.

Very clean. Kitchen has everything needed. Very private. Host communicated quickly. Pet friendly, enough area outside to take care of business. We did not use the tub or the Sauna. Just an overnight stay to our destination. I would stay again, but not with winter ice, because the drive might give problems. The driveway way was good during our stay in October. Very nice modern log cabin.Thank you allowing us to stay.

Secluded nook

Quick weekend getaway in this little secluded cabin is just what we needed. The shower was amazing! Host left us some fresh eggs and herbs which we gladly used up with our first breakfast.

Perfect location, Quiet and Cute.

Patricia’s Place was exactly what what we were hoping for. A cute, quiet reprieve from our normal everyday hustle and bustle lives. Perfectly located halfway up the same mountain as Cataloochie ski area. This made for a quick ride to ski and to town.

Short....but Sweet

I highly recommend this property and property manager. Albeit, we had to leave a day early due to a sick child the property was exactly as it read in the description. We appreciated the location to Maggie Valley and it was a well kept and private location to enjoy the calm of the mountains.

Fantastic Retreat!

Great short getaway - the listing doesn't do it justice. Thom is amazing, the location was fantastic, the property was well-equipped and clean. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay LONGER!!! I could have spent a month here happily. I hope to be able to come back.

A Little "Peace" of Heaven!

The road is a little "challenging" if you're not used to mountains, but once at the end of the street....BEAUTIFUL! So peaceful, private, the cabin was cozy (we even had a fire one chilly morning), clean & everything we needed was there...even cupcakes & a nice note welcoming us! Thom, the host, was so accommodating and friendly & couldn't be nicer, willing to do whatever needed to be done to make our vacation a truly memorable one! And it truly was memorable!!!

Peaceful stop

We decided to stop in Maggie Valley for a few days enroute to Tulsa for the holidays . Thom ( the owner) was so kind and even left us some yummy cookies and fruit upon check in . The cabin is adorable! It’s clean and cozy . Sitting by the fire looking at the Blue Ridge mountains was so relaxing . There is also an amazing shower with a steam option that will make you feel like you’re in a spa! I highly recommend this property ! Thanks Thom!!

Quiet home with amazing wildlife

This home is great! It sits high up a mountain so you get amazing views. The drive up the steep stone road is not that bad once you get use to it but I wouldn't like to do it in the winter. The wildlife (elk, deer, turkey, birds, chipmunks) were in the woods and yard around the house which was amazing! You won't find another rental property with such an awesome bathroom. There is a sauna, jacuzzi tub and rain shower. My husband and I spent a month at this property and the dedicated work space in the upstairs area was perfect. There is both an indoor and outdoor fireplace (wood is not provided but the owner was kind enough to bring us some anyway). Communication with the owner is very fast and any questions are issues are instantly resolved. The cleanliness was the only thing that was not above average. The kitchen stove and cabinets were a little dirty/greasy when we arrived (but an easy fix once I wiped them all down). The windows also need washing and screens so that you can have fresh air. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend the property.

Getting up to the cabin is a bit tough because of the road. However, it's worth the drive up once you get to the cabin. The cabin is beautiful. The view fron the deck is amazing. The layout of the cabin was perfect. Everything worked and the cabin was clean. The only complaint I have at all was the downstairs bed was really hard. We moved upstairs and that bed was pretty good. I highly recommend this cabin if you're staying in the Maggie Valley area.
