My husband and I loved the cottage. When we walked in it felt warm and welcoming. The cottage was spotless. Carol and Ted were great hosts. There was such good instructions how everything worked. We loved the welcoming gifts she gave us and the history of the Cottage! They had every thing you needed. The 3 season room was awesome! We loved sitting out there watching all the birds while we had our morning coffee. The house is near everything. Nice laundry set-up. The dining and sitting area is nice and comfy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back next year. Thank you, Carol and Ted.

We had a wonderful stay at Arrowhead Cottage. The cottage was just the right size for our family. We especially enjoyed the enclosed back patio. The home was clean and well appointed. It’s in a quiet location that was about a 20-25 min walkto town, but you could easily ride, or take the bus. It was just far enough to avoid the noise and hustle. There were also restaurants nearby, so you didn’t have to go all the way into town if you didn’t want to. The hosts made the check in and out process simple. Overall, we had a great time!

We had a great time staying at this 2 bedroom cottage for 4 nights. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The hosts were great at communicating and the check-in process was a breeze. The property was very clean and stocked with all the essentials, if needed. It was in a great location. It’s located right on a bike path if you rent bikes like we did. It’s only a couple minute car ride from downtown Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. We would definitely rent here again.

The cottage was absolutely perfect, incredibly clean, comfortable, well stocked for anything we might have needed or forgotten. Quiet, great location convenient to Oaks Bluff and Vineyard Haven. Check-in and out was easy as can be- over a great place to stay on MV!

Amazing Stay

This is one of the best properties on island. It's convenient to both Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. It's perfectly suited for a family of 4 with everything you need (and nothing "extra" to clutter the home). We can't wait to stay again!

The Arrowsmith cottage and its owners checked every box. Location was fantastic and close to everything, property was well maintained and spotless on check-in, and the service and communication from the owners was super and very responsive, the accuracy of the listing and provided linens and kitchen supplies were great.

We could not ask for a better stay. The host was prompt, professional, and thoughtful about how guests would make use of the experience. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our pup. We appreciated having the extras such as a washer and dryer and well equipped kitchen.

Peace and Calm on Martha's Vineyard.

We enjoyed the many walking areas and the pre-season quiet of the island. The townships on the island have their own individual atmosphere and quality. Our first stay there has made us look forward to another one next year.

Arrowsmith Cottage was in a perfect location for our visit, in close proximity to Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. Everything we needed was available in the Cottage (and exactly where you guessed it should be). Highly recommend!

Great place, very clean!

I was very happy with the place and the location. Everything was very comfortable. The host even contacted me when we left about a dog toy we left behind and we were able to pick it up since it was the dogs favorite toy!
