Unique and traditional style 13th century 3 bedroom spacious apartment just next to the Arno and Piazza Santa Croce.
Very quiet and private apartment within the heart of historical Florence; The apartment is located less then 5 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Signoria, and approximately 10/15 minutes walk to the Duomo.
This first floor apartment is on Corso dei Tinori. A lovely and typical street known for its 12th and 13th century history of tinting wool and silk next to the river and the 'Arte dei Tintori'. There are wonderful bars, restaurants, trattorias, gelato shops and typical caffés surrounding this area.
The apartment has been carefully and traditionally renovated, and has air conditioning and heating in every room. It has a quirky and interesting lay out with original beams, stone exposure, original shutters, antique furnishings and original flooring in places. It’s full of character for a unique stay in the heart of historical Florence.
Access to the third bedroom and second bathroom is through a 1.6m beamed study. Living room and second bedroom look out to each other across a courtyard and double French shuttered doors.
Fully functional and equipped modern bathrooms and kitchen and expendable dining space within the living area.
Please note there is no access to an elevator, the apartment is on the first floor up, approximately 20 steps up to access.
PLEASE NOTE CITY TAX IS NOT INCLUDED AND MUST BE PAID ON ARRIVAL. This is a legal requirement. You will receive an email from property manager prior to arrival with details and to arrange check in etc.
Travelling to the apartment:
There is no access to this street with a car during the day, however you can again access between 7:30pm to 7:30am (when green light on only) or of a Saturday. If you wish to stay with a car you can park short stay along the Arno in blue spaces, and pay at meter - though I would only recommend this for short stay as it becomes very expensive after first hour, however it is free there from 8pm to 8am.
The nearest garage is on the Street "Garage Tintori" please look online for rates and to book a space with them.
The house can be accessed at all times on that street by bus or taxi - there is a bus stop on the street which can runs bus service no. 23, direction SORGANE)
Santa Maria Novella train station is approximately 15 minute walk: Directions; once you have walked out of the station, turn right on to Via de' Cerretani and walk until you reach Piazza del Duomo. (You can't miss this Piazza!) Walk along Via del Proconsolo and keep straight on until you reach Via dei Leoni. At the junction with Via de Neri turn left, and proceed over the traffic lights at the crossroads with Via de Benci, keep going straight until you finally reach the Corso dei Tintori, No. 23! If you are unsure weather you have arrived at the right door, you will see 'Connaire' listed as a name on one of the bells.

Great location and beautiful house. The wifi doesn’t reach the back bedroom so make sure you have downloaded some movies etc for anyone staying back there but overall a great vacation spot for the family. Lots of space.
The apartment was great - the location was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for our family and the apartment had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The location of this apartment was absolutely perfect! We were able to walk every where we needed to go, all the main sites were fairly close. We left the city a couple of times and the train station is a doable walk from the apartment. Check in process was a breeze and the apartment looks just like the pictures listed. The Conad City grocery store across the street was so convenient and had everything that we needed. If I am ever back in Florence I would stay at this property again. Also, one of our best meals was right down the street :La Buchetta has wonderful steaks and pastaAnd for dessert Gelateria dei Neri, also very close, had wonderful gelato
Vanni met us at check-in and very thoroughly showed and explained everything we needed to know about this wonderful, quirky home. Great location enabling us to have some excellent meals out as well as relax and dine at “home”, and rest in between seeing the sights. Ability to do laundry was a big plus, as was the “cave” bedroom which our teen quickly claimed as his own. Very charming place. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Beware - Upon check in we were told that none of the Air conditioner units worked and not to use as the power goes out which is understandable however do not advertise you have air conditioning- remove it from your listing! The photos in this listing are pictured and placed in a manner that does not show the true state of this unit ! The garbage can in kitchen when opened smelled like a dead fish was left inside. Floors were not very clean and there were bread crumbs in kitchen table and under couch. Dust bunnies were everywhere and furniture was in despair - see pics - and not even close to what the listing shows. Main bedroom was ok - back room had broken light and 5 inches on each side of bed and no room to place clothes. One bathroom was good - the back was dirty - The tile was dirty and the shower curtain was moldy and not clean- see pics This property is in a good location
Property was very clean and comfortable. Egla, property manager, was very helpful as our flight was delayed going out. Property very convenient for all the sights, walking distance. Would definitely recommend.
The location was excellent...close to everything. Each room had air conditioning which was great because it was hot outside. It is a cool little bungalow in a great location. Would definitely recommend this property
Enjoyed our stay very centralized location to restaurants ,grocery store across the street very convenient .Sites local lots of shops .Beds comfortable ,make sure to bring something to watch movies or such no tv. Left a bag behind and very helpful in getting it shipped back to me and very thankful for that .
Apartment was clean. Non working elevator. Listed as first floor but had to take two flights of steps to get to unit.Great location for walking to Academia, Uffizi, dining, and shopping. Grocery store right across the street which was a plus. Management team was great to work with. Due to age of building could not run more than one appliance at a time. Low lighting throughout rooms.
Amazing property. Best neighborhood. Close to everything. Felt like home immediately. Everything we needed and more. Small market across the street had everything we needed for amazing dinners and easy breakfasts. Kids loved bedroom and bath at the back.
We enjoyed our stay, the property was a very convenient location. There were a few spots that could have been better cleaned. But the shower was great, and washer/dryer/dishwasher were all handy to have and worked well.Beds were comfy enough and overall we enjoyed our time i! Florence
Unique property. Fabulous location. Windows all inside courtyard views - we were out being tourists and did not use the kitchen except for light breakfasts.
we like the traditional charm of the house very much! it is also spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for a family. Location is central, full of shops and markets outside, within 20 minutes walk to museums, palaces and churches.
This place was great! Great location, clean, roomy and comfortable. I can’t imagine a better place to stay and owners were very friendly and responsive. We were able to walk everywhere.
Close to all the major sites. Terrific little grocery store across the street. Property manager easy to work with.

Stay in Florence
We had a wonderful time in Florence. The location of the property was amazing. Walking distance to every major attractions. We felt that the apartment was a little humid and a moldy smell. But overall a good place to stay.
The location of this apartment was excellent and within walking distance to all sites. We found the apartment very cozy with lovely comfortable chairs to relax in after a long day of sightseeing. Vanni was very welcoming and explained all the necessities to us.
From excellent check in with Vanni who gave us tour of property and all you need to know about wine of the area and general information was so helpful. The apartment was as the pictures, with an extra dash of quircky and we loved it, very comfortable.

Thanks so much, so thrilled you loved your stay! Thank you for being such wonderful guests and we hope to see you again in the future.
What a fun place to stay with teen girls. The property itself was the most unique place we have ever stayed. It is huge and both my girls, 14 and 16 had their own rooms. Location was perfect to walk to everything. Literally 5 min it’s to the Uffizi gallery, plus the other must do’s in Florence.
We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment! It’s very quirky with strange hallways and nooks, and we found it really unique. It is renovated and well stocked. The kitchen is small, but has good appliances and definitely had everything we needed. We loved the location of the apartment, within walking distance of everything we wanted to do/see. We found a new favorite restaurant just down the street (l’Osteria Cucina Casalinga) that we went back to multiple times. We definitely hope to stay here again when we return to Florence!!
