Beach Getaway

This condo was perfect for our little getaway. It was clean, well-stocked, and very homey. It was right by the beach and all the shops. I highly recommend this place for your next Hilton Head visit. We had a wonderful time!

Great beach view!

We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We also used the indoor hot tub and infinity lap pool on the day it rained. We loved how close to the beach we were. The view was beautiful from the fifth floor. Easy parking and elevator use. Lots of places to walk to near by for food, ice cream, drinks, or shopping.

Perfect setup, perfect location, amazing beach!

This is one of our favorite places! This unit was very clean and mostly updated! Just couldn’t get cable on any of the TV’s. Which for some a smart TV is next but tie an 87yr old mother in law it wasn’t! That would be the only negative!

Condo was nice. Good location easy access to all the fun things to do. Unit a little dates smoke detector kept beeping and entrance floor very dirty. Bed in master very noisy due to loose connections.

Great location & great views!

This place was in the perfect spot. Convenient to everything (shopping, dining, bike rental etc). Views from balcony were outstanding and the two pools were clean, close and inviting. They could stand to have smart tvs in master bedroom and living room (only one smart tv in smaller bedroom) and could use better plumbing fixtures. Since I was only vacationing here for 3 days, those were minor issues. On-site laundry was convenient and parking was very close to elevator to room. We really had a great time and would visit again! If you’re not too fussy, you’ll love this place.

Great location across from shops and right on the beach! They had some things I wish I knew before such as beach toys, boogie boards, pack and play, cooler, and a hair dryer. But no beach chairs or a broom, those would have been nice. Rooms are big and the bathrooms too! There were some minor issues and we wish we had a direct number to the local office, the only option was to a call a call center which had no idea what was going on in the area where we stayed.

Great Location but needs TLC

Great Location with great ocean view. However, dissapointed in the condition of the proporty. Toilet seat broken, dresser drawers not usable, refrigerator door handel filthy. One of 2 elevators broken the whole time we were. There. For the price I felt things were pretty run down.

Greta room shotty pool hrs!

Seacrest is always great to stay at. However the pool closing at 5 was complete bs! Nobody informed us of this as we would have stayed someplace else! And no they werent sanitizing at 5:10. Breakers pool next door was open all night, so it wasnt an ordinance. Complete bs on All those in mngt who failed to inform vacationers of this beforhand!

Great location. We’ve stayed at Sea Crest previously and like the property and location. The beach has definitely gotten more crowded over the years with more public beach parking nearby. The pool area needs to have more tables with umbrellas for shade. The unit has a well-stocked kitchen and newer appliances. The living room furniture is comfortable, but it’s showing wear. There is a tear in a couch back cushion and the leather chair seat is worn down in the front. The living room area rug was filthy and had brown spots. We couldn’t let our crawling-age grandson on the floor because it was not clean. (The management company offered to come back to clean, but it should have been clean upon arrival. Returning to clean on our vacation time was a major inconvenience.)The king bed was comfortable. The king bathroom needs a new shower. Very dated and in need of new tile. Bathroom cabinets are in bad shape.

Needs some small improvements

The view from the unit is amazing! The location of Seacrest is perfect and the amenities at the resort are fantastic. The unit itself was perfectly fine and comfortable and gave us room to spread out (we had 5 people). The Homeowners need to put a little money into the place to fix the master shower handle, fix blinds and sliding doors and replace some loose plugs. They should definitely look into some better exhaust fans throughout as the ones that are there don't work and look moldy. I gave 4 stars because it had everything we needed and had an amazing view, but a few small improvements would have made it exceptional.

Dryer was broke

Called Vacasa about the dryer. Never was fixed or replaced and there was no followup after we reported the problem. If I would have known we would not have stayed there. It is something we use every time we vacation there which is over 20 years. Vacasa has terrible service.

Perfect view but needs a little love.

If you want an amazing view, this is the condo. A few things we noticed about the condo: AC filter is so dusty it needed changed months ago. The master bathroom shower needs caulked better and mold gotten rid of too. The kitchen floor is coming up in a few spots. The dishwasher needs replaced. Replace the old chair in the living room. Or get it professionally cleaned. The beds were comfortable and the place pretty clean. Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay. We love Sea Crest. It’s a beautiful resort!

Great view on the beach but needs work

View, ease of access pool bar Jim’s and amenities were great. Floors were dirty and bulging/ cracking by the kitchen, shower was finicky (not that hot and water wouldn’t shut off completely), dryer stopped working, the place was dated but had the basics. We found someone’s wallet and lighter in a drawer ( we returned it), local communication from maintenance was not good as we went 3 days with out an update to our dryer, the main call center was responsive and adjusted for inconvenience but I would be sure items are fixed and honestly make sure it is clean before you stay. The trip was still good but could have been better being able to do laundry and the place being very deep cleaned.

Beautiful property & location

Absolutely perfect location! Could not ask for a better place to stay in our opinion. Right on the beach, plus 2 beautiful pools and the added convenience of being able to walk right across the street to Coligny Plaza for all the fun shops and restaurants. The condo was even nicer than the photos in the listing except for the shower in the master bathroom. I have to mention that it really needs an update. It is so small you can hardly turn around and I am a small person. The tile is old and honestly looks gross. It’s just so opposite of everything else in this condo it was very surprising. It’s almost as if they updated the entire condo but skipped that bathroom. All in all we would still rent again. Beautiful view from the 5th floor of the ponds, pools and beach too!!

Broken Master Shower

I read up on some reviews a few weeks before are staying that were new from the summer. The place is definitely out dated and has it quirks but overall was just what we needed because we didn't expect to be in the room. The biggest issue is the master shower did not work. I contacted the company MULTIPLE times. I was told someone would be out to check on it and that never happened. Extremely disappointing! I was with a group of 40+ so I saw multiple units in the property. I will say there are many nicer properties for similar cost so I would suggest reading reviews before booking! Hilton Head is amazing :)

Seacrest was great, Vacasa not so much

The accommodations and location were excellent. We checked in at around 2:00 on Saturday with no issues. Later that day I received calls, texts and emails from Vacasa telling me I had to relocate to another condo. When I called to discuss it I was told there was a maintenance issue. I asked exactly what the maintenance issue was and was put on hold for 30 minutes. That person could not give me any specifics after the 30 minute wait and told me I had to call relocation services. I called that number and again was told there was a maintenance issue and I had to move. They provided a link to other accommodations, none of which were in Seacrest. None were oceanfront like the condo I had rented. My condo was 2 bedrooms with 3 beds to sleep 6. Some of the options offered were 1 bedroom. Again I asked for specifics on the maintenance issue. I was out on hold and the call disconnected after 15 minutes. I had no other contact from them for the rest of my week. It seems suspicious that they wanted me out of that condo but couldn’t tell me why.

Dissappointing.....

The entire property is really starting to show it's age. Lots of TLC is necessary to get it back to an acceptable place to stay. Cracks in the tile on the outside walkways, metal entry doors that are very beat up and scratched. Much needed painting and an overall need for a "refresh". During our stay, we woke up one morning and found our water was turned off. After a few calls, we were told that several units were experiencing no water and they would send someone over as soon as possible. Running into the water company employee, we learned that it was a "scheduled" maintenance item and the entire building was without water for approx. 4 hours. We were lied to by the rental company. Very inconvenienced to have no showers, coffee, brushing of teeth and other regular morning necessities. Our unit needed a lot of work. Both bathrooms are in dire need of a complete redo. Old, dirty tile on floor, showers and tubs. The AC makes loud, groaning noises. Lots of lights do not work. Popcorn ceiling is way out dated. Last but not least, On mornings 2 and 3 at apprx. 8:15 a.m. the fire alarm went off for approximately 20 minutes. Nice wake up when you are on vacation! Totally unacceptable. It is a shame that such a nice location and what used to be a lovely property, is going down hill.

This was absolutely an amazing place to stay! I hope to stay at this property in the future. It was clean, well-stocked for the beach and the kitchen, and beautiful. The view from the balcony is amazing as well. We even watched a Space X Falcon 9 rocket launch from the balcony! The location is perfect if you're looking to walk more than drive. You're right on the beach and next door to shops and restaurants. I fully recommend this location!

Review

We loved our first time staying at sea crest. We even liked our room. We liked the size of the rooms, the view, close to the elevator (when they were fixed on Monday) nice big bathrooms and the closeness to everything. What we did not like about the room was the dryer took forever to dry anything, a lot of the light fixtures flickered, there was no secure Wi-Fi internet for guest to use we did not like that for our privacy, the living room back door did not open and close well, the hot and cold water was weird; couldn’t get hot water every time, the bedding was old on all beds and needs new sheets and comforters( makes the place look old), the flooring in the kitchen was coming up, the dishwasher and fridge are out dated and broken inside on some shelves, not a lot of kitchen supplies and the hot tub and pools were not heated; only 2 days did the hot tub felt hot and the pool never. The condo has a lot of potential but just needs some updates and a makeover. If the owners make these small changes we would love to stay in the unit again. We will definitely be returning to Sea Crest Villas!

Great views and the best location on Hilton Head! We walked to everything. The condo is very roomy and had everything we needed. The pool area and food was great. You are very close to the ocean. Everyone we met were as nice as they could be.
