Wonderful pet friendly cabana with private deck right on Lake Dunmore! Walk to Paddlers Pub and hiking trails. Magical sunrises and sunsets. Plus the fun of watching the Middlebury rowing team practice each morning. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay, the unit was nice and clean with everything we needed and a comfortable bed. The location was good, close to Middlebury College to visit out son but also nice to be in the lake and walking distance to a nice place fine a casual meal. We would stay here again.

A great find at Lake Dunmore

The Cabana was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you could want while staying at the lake. The hosts were very responsive, and the property as a while was great. There is a pub with decent food and drinks options within walking distance, as well as a camp store if you need any snacks or firewood for the firepit. The beach and surrounding area were clean, and the neighborhood overall was very quiet when compared to other lakeside offerings. I highly recommend this rental.

Cabana stay

My husband and our two dogs enjoyed our stay at the Cabana at Waterhouses Marina very much. The place was clean and comfortable and we loved the private deck with the view of the water. Our only problem was that the TV didn't seem to work and we couldn't figure it out - perhaps including instructions to the TV in the book would be helpful. We also suggest that you offer complimentary coffee and creamer along with the coffeemaker that is available in the full kitchen. Otherwise, we have no complaints! We also recommend the trails at the back end of the campground across the road. Wonderful hike and views! We hope to return later this summer or fall. Susan and John

Bucolic lakeside location! Enjoyed the gorgeous Fall weather while watching the Vermont Cup right out our door yesterday. Only minutes to Middlebury College, hiking and restaurants. Very easy check-in process and owners are responsive and friendly. Great stay!

My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay here. The Cabana had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, no frills. The proximity to the beach and The Pub at Waterhouses was a plus. Enjoyable evenings around the fire pit and a spacious deck looking out on the small marina. The AC was an added bonus dealing with the August heat. A great escape during the day to cool down and we slept comfortable and cool every night. It's not a big space inside but it suited us. I would rent this again.
