David and Britta were excellent hosts! The apartment was just what we needed—cosy, clean and convenient. Warm showers, opportunity for a bit of exercise up and down the stairs, taxi stand just steps from the apartment and a place to take your trash out not far at all. While it was easy to walk to all the major sites, we felt like we were in a neighborhood a little off the beaten path. Walking around over our stay we would run into the same people with their dogs and started to recognize each other! Laundry in the apartment was so helpful and we were also able to cook a meal in one night to relax and chill! Our teenagers are already asking when we can come back. Highly recommend!!
My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect, walkable to everything. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms clean and nice. We had a wonderful stay.
Great roomy apartment. Accommodating host who made check in a pleasure and communication a dream! Worst thing was the stairs up and the long walk thru town with our luggage
Spent 4 nights here with 4 adults in August. Perfect location, easy check in process, clean and well furnished apartment. David was very attentive and quickly responded to any questions we had. We were very thankful for powerful AC during the 100 degree heat! Would stay again.
I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful apartment - comfortable, stylish, quiet with great beds - and the location in Oltrarno was conveniently located. David and Britta made everything so easy from check in to checkout. Coming “home” after busy days in one of the most beautiful cities in the world was a pleasure.
My adult children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Art Apartment. Check in was easy and David and his staff were easy to communicate with. The only negative was the pillows - they made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place!
This 2 bedroom apartment is perfectly located near the Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace. Close to all that Florence has to offer but very quiet so you can get the rest you need after long days exploring the city. The amenities were great for our western family - air conditioning and a washer and dryer made it the perfect pitstop for us during our 2 week journey in Italy. Strongly recommend.
Spacious, clean and quiet while conveniently located within walking distance to Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery. The only difficulty encountered was in getting answers back to our questions prior to our stay.
The location was ideal. The host David was very responsive both before and during stay. Please note it’s on the third floor which was difficult for us older folks. The second bathroom is small but fully furnished. Washer and dryer were greatly appreciated.
The place was in a fabulous location close to the Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace but down a little via so it was quiet as well. Our hosts were great and the check in was flawless. Detailed info packet was excellent. Had a slight problem with one of the AC units but the other two cooled the area nicely.
The apartment is just as it appears in the photos. It’s on the top floor, as the description warns, so there is an invigorating walk up a few flights. Everything worked well, delightful neighborhood views from the windows. Convenient to everything! I’d definitely stay here again. The road is quite narrow - we parked our rental Alfa Romeo Stelvio on the cross street, and carried suitcases to the apartment door. Very easy, not a problem. Parked our car in the Garage Anglo-Americano, which is less than a five minute walk from the flat. Delightful cafés, bars, and trattorias everywhere you turn. We can’t wait to come back!
Great location & cool apartment but The owner left no dishwasher pods, no laundry detergent, no napkins, no paper towels & only enough of the specific Nepresso coffee pods for half our stay.
I ask him to resupply detergents and coffee but he refused.
I did not think it was reasonable that I should have to purchase an excess of these products. Meaning I would have to purchase a larger quantity than I could use for my stay. It felt like he was being very stingy. We found his attitude to be rude.

Great location, but…
First, they should specify the address is 6 Black, not just 6. Black is a residence, red is a business-taxis drop you off 2 blocks away with all your luggage at wrong address-plus they cannot pick you up if you need one unless you know this. We were Told to get keys out of lockbox with a picture showing 1 lockbox-there were 2, so we didn’t know which one to use. And remember, in Italy, the first floor is called the piano, though it’s still floor 1, so technically, the apartment is not on the 3rd floor, but 4th. 60 steps every time to get to apartment-can’t possibly carry groceries up for more than 1 day. Exhausting! No window coverings except for 1bedroom-so the freezing air outside can’t be kept out & neighbor In courtyard constantly looking in on you. TV remote broken—no ports on Smart TV-even the host couldn’t get it to work. Apt not cleaned Very well when we arrived-only 2 towels in entire place-no kitchen towels, old water still in coffee maker, as well as old used coffee pods. We have rented in Italy for 15 years & have Never run into anything like this.
