Cozy Waterfront Mountain retreat

Renovare Loft is the perfect place to Unplug, Refresh and Unwind from your busy life. The entire upstairs space is yours to enjoy, with a private entrance and deck. The space is 1100 Sq feet and includes a large master bedroom, 1 full bath, a spacious living area, a kitchenette with a microwave, electric skillet, coffee maker, small refrigerator, utensils, charcoal grill, coffee and an assortment tea and oatmeal will be provided as well. The kitchenette does not have a stove. Our outdoor space is perfect for sipping your morning coffee on your private deck as the sun risers or end your day roasting marshmallows while you sit by the rustling creek below. We live in the down stairs space of the home and have two little boys. We respect your privacy and would be available if you might need us for anything during your stay. This unforgettable mountain retreat is the perfect place to relax with access to hiking trails, minutes rom Vallecito lake which is 35 minutes from downtown Durango.
There is a charcoal grill available. Charcoal not provided.

The fire pit area is a shared space with tiny house guests. We do want you to know that there is a neighborhood dog named Kanga. She loves to come by for a visit from time to time and is very friendly.

Relaxing and enjoyable stay

The cleanliness and comfort of the property were great. The friendliness, communication and hospitality of the owners was also great and very much appreciated. The location of property (close to Vallecitos Lake) and the availability of restaurants & shops added to the enjoyment of our vacation to this area.

Perfect Peace

Brittney & Ryan have created a beautiful home in the middle of the most perfect location. Everything we could think of needing was right here for us. We came for rest and that is exactly what we got. We will be back!

Wonderful getaway

Absolutely beautiful place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property was clean and the owners were so accommodating and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Restful escape

The space was adorable and we loved being right on the creek. We had planned to do more while in the Bayfield/Durango area but took this little vacation the weekend after we moved and ended up taking a 5 hour nap. We definitely needed the rest! It was a perfect little retreat to rest up before returning to our hectic lives. We didn’t get to interact with the host while we were but Britney was so accommodating when we had to reschedule our stay earlier in the year. All in all, a great stay.

Wake up to the sounds of water and birds

Super cute upper story of an occupied house. Very quiet. You are right on the shore of a rushing creek - you can have your morning coffee creek side. The property is a little over 1/2 mile from the trail head of a beautiful hike into the national forest. There is coffee maker, a microwave and small refrigerator, so no major cooking possible. Required a little planning/shopping since some restaurants are closed/have limited service during COVID 19 restrictions. There are two different country stores not far - one has breakfast burritos and take out pizzas. The other has deli sandwiches. The Weminuche grill has good food. That was the limit of our dining out. You'll have to buy food supplies in Durango as there is not much in the way of shopping in Bayfield or Vallecito. The hosts are awesome - very nice people!

Thank you Amy, for these details for future guests. Yes, our kitchenette has limited cooking and grabbing groceries in Durango is recommended. We do have an electric skillet which many families have said they enjoyed cooking on including pancakes, eggs, hamburger meat, chicken, etc. There is also a charcoal grill provided as well.

Lovely place

Everything was perfect. Easy access location, beautiful spot. Loved being in the loft. You can see down into the river. Owners were so sweet and accomadating.
