This property has great karma, a feel-good cottage that guests enjoy time and again! Superbly sited on Western Bay in Trenton, this terrific shorefront getaway with stairs to the beach offers a living room fireplace and wonderful views of Mount Desert Island and the mountains of Acadia National Park from nearly every room. Whatever the season, this upscale home on Western Bay offers stairs to the beach, a living room fireplace, and views of Mt. Desert Island and the mountains of Acadia National Park. It's an ideal vacation getaway with a shore setting just three miles from the head of Mt. Desert island and all that Acadia and the Island villages have to offer. Parties of up to 4 people will have use of two master bedroom suites located in the main part of the house and parties of 5 to 8 will have additional access to a lower-level third bedroom, bath, and family room.

Please note: Advertised rates include the upper two levels of the home with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The additional person fee, for groups larger than 4, adds on a "Lower Level" of the house with a third bedroom, living area, bath, etc. Please inquire for further clarification.

FIRST FLOOR: Enjoy breakfast in the cozy kitchen nook, or at the island bar, both offering seating for three. The well-stocked Kitchen features granite countertops and high-end stainless steel appliances and a wine cooler. Laundry facilities are sleekly located in the kitchen as well as a discrete folding ironing board accessible in a kitchen drawer. With cathedral ceilings and plenty of windows showcasing the shore, the home's Great Room boasts a comfortable seating area with a stone fireplace and a Dining Area with a large table for up to 8 people. Also on the main level is a Master Suite with Queen bed that enjoys access to a covered deck with a private entrance and Bathroom with shower only. A tidy Office completes the first floor.

SECOND FLOOR: Upstairs is a second Master Suite with King bed and private balcony. Here one also finds a cozy Sitting Area designed for great airflow with cross ventilation, a Full Bathroom with a separate shower and deep-soaking bathtub and a flat screen television.

LOWER LEVEL (Separate space available for an additional fee): A finished basement offers a 12' x 24' Family Room with flat-screen TV as well as a third Bedroom with two Double beds and a full Bathroom with a combined tub and shower and double vanity. You may rent this space, but it is NOT included in the rental. If you're a party of 4 or fewer, the base rate is for use of the two primary bedrooms and baths only (A washer and dryer are available in this space for washing larger loads to any tenant, not just those renting the lower level).

OUTDOOR SPACES: Small deck with high-top table for four, bar cart, and charcoal grill. Separate partially covered private decks with chairs of the first and second-floor bedrooms A set of stairs takes you to the rocky beach in front of the home.

AMENITIES: High-end kitchen appliances include a downdraft cooking stove. High-speed Internet. Radiant floor heating. Various ceiling fans, as well as window air conditioning units in each of the two upper bedrooms, and those who pay for use of the finished basement area, will find the lower level family room is equipped with a central air type system. 220V Electric Car charging station available.
