Welcome to Opie's Cabins. These Cozy Cabins are fully restored 100-year old Rail Road Cabins, located near the Comal River. The Comal River is within walking distance and can been seen from the deck. Texas Tubes is located next door for easy outdoor fun. Each Cabin is uniquely decorated with it's own theme. All 8 cabins are connected with a gorgeous deck, which makes reserving multiple cabins more convenient for larger parties and groups.

Each cabin sleeps 1-4 people. These Cabins have a "tiny home" style kitchen, extra linens and cooking utensils are supplied. There is no ice maker or dishwasher.

Great weekend in New Braunfels

We have stayed at these cabins several times. Five minute walking distance to downtown, Landa Park, and Wurstfest. Very quiet, parking is easy. One of our favorite places to stay in New Braunfels.

River stay

Wonderful property, so close to everything including the river which is walking distance. Deer everywhere and the host is extremely helpful and easy to contact for any questions or concerns. Will absolutely be back and recommend.

We have stayed here for several years during Wurstfest and it is always clean, convenient, and a just a short walk to the festival. We will come back every year, and won't stay anywhere else!

Perfect location!

This is an excellent choice for proximity to all of the New Braunfels vacation locations - Schlitterbahn, Landa Park, the river. I would not plan on cooking full meals in the kitchen because of the size, but it was super handy to have a fridge and sink while traveling with little kids. We would stay here again!

I visit New Braunfels in the first quarter of every year to get in some cycling and stay in one of these cute cabins every year…usually the German-themed cabin. Everything about it is wonderful for those who like small cabins!

Weekend Float Trip

Thank you so much for the very clean and nice cabin that couldn’t have been located in a more perfect spot next to the tube rental place. Enjoyed everything and especially the quiet cozy atmosphere. The wildlife especially the deer were an added treat for myself and wife. Thank you sharing your place with our family.
