Cute and comfortable cottage RIGHT on the lake - we had so much fun! The bedrooms are small but totally functional, the air conditioning works well, and the kitchen is well stocked. We found everything we needed. Immediately outside the cottage is a sandy beach, swimming area, boat dock, and playground. The kids were in heaven!

The cottage was very clean. The host was very responsive to our messages. It was a great lake view of Hamlin Lake. Very family friendly. A lot of game to play but the weather was so nice we were not inside to much. Kitchen was very well stocked with plate, pans, and utensils. Very quiet, and relaxing. We are familiar with the Ludington area from our previous camping trips, so there are a lot of good restaurants in the area. If you like to cook inside there is some grocery stores near by.

The Robin cottage was exactly what you’re looking for at Lake Hamlin!

Tina and Ed are lovely people to know and property owners to rent from. They truly think of everything you might need to have a special stay at their Robin cottage. Highly recommend their rental on Hamlin Lake!

Fishing trip with Brothers

Our second time staying at Vacation Lane and had a great time. Tina was available any time we had a question. Cabin was just across the street from the boat launch making getting in and out easy. Cabin was clean and central to our boat docking and the fish cleaning station. We would book again.

Relaxing, comfortable, and beautiful

The Robin cabin is perfectly located near the water. We loved the screened in porch and the use of the kayaks. The playground area was also fun even if we were all adults. The hosts were wonderful and thought about all the little details that were appreciated like night lights, and paper products. We are a pretty picky family when it comes to cabins and locations but we all agreed we would stay here again.

Nice old restored cottage.Fishing was OK, not great.Mattress on Queen bed wasn't comfortable on the right side (edge is higher than muddle).

Labor Day Weekend

Originally booked this for a friends wedding that was rescheduled and decided to go anyway and it was quite the get away! The boys caught king salmons, the cottage was clean & equipped with necessities and games, the kids enjoyed the playground, fishing from the deck was relaxing, overall a very peaceful and friendly environment! Tina & Ed have a nice place and are very sweet people!

Convenient Stay for Young Family

Very clean, quaint cottage in a convenient area. Close to all Ludington attractions but also convenient location in Vacation Lane for easy access to the beach and water. With a 7-month old and a 3-year old, the cozy space had enough room for all of us. Fans and heat in every room made it convenient for climate control for the uncertain weather shifts in early June. Smooth process and communication all around with booking, arrival, and exiting. Definitely would return!

Weekend

Cottage was perfect for us and kitchen stocked with everything we needed. My only issue was that we had to pay for an entire weekly docking fee despite only being there for 3 nights. Seems excessive especially in April when no one is even using the marina.

Fall Get Away

We had an amazing stay! This property has everything you need for cooking, kayaking, campfires and movie watching. It’s extremely clean and well kept. It is a part on a “ resort” property now privately owned. Very very quiet while we were there. Tina is amazing and very helpful! Only suggestion is furniture more comfortable than thin futons in the living room for visiting or watching movies.In the evening- pretty uncomfortable. Also less plastic for pillows and mattresses. Otherwise perfect!!

Thanks, Sue. I'm actually ordering new furniture for the living-room right now. As for the plastic covers on the bed, we wipe them all down with anti-bacterial wipes between visitors to insure Covid-free cleanliness.

Our new favorite place

This was our first trip north for vacation (typically we go South) and I can say we were thoroughly impressed. This location took me back to my childhood and my favorite vacation spot I went to growing up. It's the perfect little community...not too crowded or crazy, perfect amenities, great for families, tons around to do. The place might seem a bit small for 4 people, but honestly the only thing we really did there was sleep. We were outside all day everyday. The docks and swim area are right there, and plenty of seating for you to hang out in while the kids play. The sand was super fun to play in, and we caught plenty of fish off the dock. The water was SO clear, and the kids loved the playground as well. We had everything we needed and more. We took a couple day trips to nearby towns, but honestly could've spent the whole week and way more just on the proper. The owners were amazing! So communicative and friendly- and we loved the little surprise basket they left for us! We can't wait to come back and make more memories!!!

Fun Columbus day weekend

We had so much fun at Tina's cottage! So close to nice trails, 4 lighthouses in nearby shore towns, and Luddington downtown with yummy restaurants. The cottage has everything you need, and the 2 kayaks are a great addition!

Beautiful view

Our stay at the Robin was wonderful. It is a three bedroom with kitchen bath and screened porch. Parking was easy and close on property. Beach sand was a very short walk away.

Cute Cottage

Robin cottage is a very nice spot to stay on Hamlin Lake -unfortunately for us, Mother Nature decided to rain all week so we never used the Kayaks! But my husband did catch a couple perch off of the dock- they offer a nice swimming area and sandy beach for kids.Tina was very nice and, of course, it was a pleasure to meet sweet Junie!
