This lovely, expansive six-bedroom home is made for large, multi-generational family groups to come together, relax, and create lasting memories. With a fantastic dual-living layout, excellent off-street parking, and a prime location just minutes from the water, there is room for the whole family to spread out in comfort.

The Space
This spacious Kiwi bach offers a simple, comfortable, and highly functional setup across two distinct levels, making it easy for a large family to holiday together without feeling cramped.

The home features six bedrooms and three bathrooms:
Upstairs Living:
Bedroom 4: 1 Queen Bed
Bedroom 5: 1 Queen Bed
Bedroom 6: 1 Single Bed
Features the main open-plan kitchen, dining area, and a light-filled lounge that opens onto an outdoor deck. A family bathroom and separate toilet are also on this level.

Downstairs Living:
Bedroom 1: 1 Super King Bed
Bedroom 2: 1 Queen Bed
Bedroom 3: 2 Single Beds (Please note: This is a walkthrough room, making it an excellent setup for children).
Features a second living area opening onto a private patio and garden space, along with two additional bathrooms.

A large foyer leads through to the double garage, which houses the laundry and leads to an outside drying area under the deck. Wi-Fi is included to keep everyone connected.

Please note: As a classic, loved family bach, some personal belongings may be present. The bikes and kayaks stored in the garage are strictly not available for guest use.

Location & Parking
Fantastic Walkability: A quick, easy stroll down the road to the lake, the local Rainbow Point dairy, a fish and chip shop, and the Two mile bay sailing club.
Ample Parking: Includes a double garage plus off-street parking for cars and boat trailers.

Important Guest Information
Family Bookings Only: Because of its large size, this home is strictly reserved for family holiday groups. Located in a quiet, established residential area, it is strictly not suitable for large groups of single adults, parties, or events.

Linen Options: In the true Kiwi bach tradition, you are welcome to bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, and tea towels. Alternatively, you can use our convenient hire service for $17.25 per person—just select this option when booking or let us know in the comments.

Guest Surcharge: Base rates cover up to 6 guests. An additional guest surcharge applies for more than 6 people.
When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.

We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.

You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.

The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.

All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.

All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.
