The home was beautiful and very close to the beach. We were able to load up the provided wagon, chairs, sand toys, and beach towels and walk to the water in a couple minutes. My granddaughters loved it. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. Everything was clean and in good shape. Only suggestion would be to have room darkening shades in bedrooms. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

The house was amazing and adorable. Beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfy. Will definitely be returning in the future.The only downside was the sink kept backing up when we ran the dishwasher and it smelled rotten and there didn’t seem to be a disposal to help clear it. Still wasn’t devastating and would still go back again!

Great home base stay near Oxnard beach.

My husband and spent a week in this charming beach house which we used as a home base to explore via day trips. The property was clean, comfortable and met all our needs.

This is a great property in a quiet neighborhood, 5 minute walk to the beach. House had everything we needed. Furnishings are updated and the beds were very comfortable.Our two doodles loved running on the beach. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Host gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We’ll be back!

We used this as a base for visiting the Channel Islands National Park and areas in greater L.A. The listing was as advertised and very convenient to Ventura Marina. The beach is easily accessible and less than five minute walk.We recommend the Casa by the Sea for your recommendation.

Dishwasher didn't work. Message the host a few times and didn't get a response until after we checked out. Windows had missing or broken screens. This was important since the place doesn't have AC (as listed). Other than that, the place was great. Awesome neighborhood with so much character The beach was super close and really fun to visit.

Although we gave an excellent review, there were a few concerns:Starting off the push button door lock had issues making it impossible to lock the door when we left. We reached out to Aaron who suggested we change the batteries which we did. It helped, but the lock still didn’t work correctly and sometimes we still weren’t able to lock the house when we left. We have these locks at home so we are very familiar how they operate. Another concern was the temperature in the house which averaged around 78 degrees. I understand a lot of the beach homes in this area do not have A/C. However, several of the windows did not have screens, and/or would not open at all or the screens were ripped or bent. (window by dining table and living room large window). The lack of screens on the windows that actually did open allowed flys to get into the house but it was way too hot to leave them closed. Also, the back bedroom windows had no screen and it and did not open which made it extremely hot and made it difficult to sleep. The house had one small pedestal fan but it was not efficient enough for anything of any value to cool the house or any bedrooms. Strongly suggest they get the window/screen issues addressed to allow proper air flow and help keep the house cool, as well as provide a couple larger fans being there’s no A/C. The house and location is great but these issues really detracted from our experience.
