Our fully-equipped chalet sits on a 2 acre hilltop that's perfect for skiing Monarch, relaxing in Mount Princeton Hot Springs, climbing the Collegiate Peaks, or rafting the Arkansas river. Our chalet is set up for your comfort and always cleaned and sanitzed based on CDC reccomendations. Enjoy a comfortable home with amazing 360 views and hiking/ off-roading just down the road at the base of Mount Shavano. We have everything you need to enjoy the outdoors, work remotely, or just relax.

Location was amazing. Perfect distance between great hiking and a great town. The property itself was very well maintained and the entire family felt perfectly comfortable. Can’t wait until we visit again in March.

Family vacation. 3 generations

All the comforts of home, but in the mountains. Wonderful space, perfect for 3 generations from 2 to 69 years. We could either spend the day at the house, exploring the grounds and nearby trails or venture off to Salida, go rafting, fishing or climbing mountains.. This was our 2nd year at this property and we will be back!

Wonderful location, responsive host

The location of this house was wonderful - a heavy snow did make it difficult to access the house on the day we arrived and the next day. The host was apologetic and did eventually find someone to clear the drive. The house was well kept - the layout was a little challenging with the main hang out area being upstairs near bedrooms but that was primarily because we were traveling with young children. The listing is as described, and I would recommend the house to other families.

This property was stunning. The views in every direction were outstanding -it was surrounded by mountains in every direction. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our month long stay. From here, it is a short drive to Salida,which is a charming small town, with good restaurants, and lots of galleries and boutiques. I highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place in the Salida area.

Perfect home base to explore the area rafting, boating, cycling and eating at great restaurants. The host fully equipped the home, and it was well stocked with the essentials. We will be back! A+++

Great home convenient to slopes and town

This was a great vaca home for our adult family get away. The home has nice space, bright and open. It was about 12 minutes to the base of Monarch and about 15 minutes to downtown Salida. The kitchen was nicely equipped with cooking basics. My kids comment was I hit it out of the park with this rental!

Family Vacation

We had 6 adults, two little kids,and a dog and we never felt crowded. The community spaces,deck, and views are great. We would definitely stay there again.Highly recommend!

Amazing, Cozy House with Views.

Spent a girls weekend at this property. House is super cute, well stocked and in a great location. We really enjoyed cooking and lounging around the fireplace. Beds were a little on the firm side but that being said I’d stay here again.
