Geraldine's house was perfect...Well stocked, clean, and lots of privacy. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the town. The wine and biscuits were lovely and such a thoughtful touch. We also appreciated Geraldine's tips on getting around and the local options. There is also a little market 1 block away that is fantastic...they are very kind to those that are not fluent in French.

Lovely house, quaint fishing village in Normandie

Beautiful, comfortable, way better than the pictures. Our hostess, Geraldine, was superb and so helpful. Use the address that she gives you, 18 Rue Docteur Collette Huet and not 18 Rue de Bayeux. These are two different houses on the same street.

Precious property

We loved this home and the host! Geraldine thought of every detail from a welcome basket with snacks and wine, to candies on the pillows. The kitchen was nicely stocked with coffee and spices for cooking. The 3 patio areas were precious and home very lovely decorated with coastal theme. Very very clean. Highly recommend if going to this area of Normandy. The gated driveway and outdoor lighting made the home very secure. Delicious restaurants, bakeries and grocery store just a very brief walk from home. 5 stars all around.

Absolute Perfection!

If you want a clean and beautiful place to stay in Port-en-Bessin-Huppain this is your place! We were impressed surg this property as soon as we pulled into the private driveway, but when we walked inside we instantly fell in love! We had planned to only stay 3 nights, but within minutes decided to asked host Geraldine if we could extend 2 additional nights. Thankfully no one had booked for the weekend! The kitchen has everything that you need, and there's an ironing board and iron nearby too! The washer and dryer in the garage was definitely a plus though we struggled at first since the instructions were only in French. Google translation helped! The decor is fresh and inviting! No detail is spared here! The king size bed on the second floor was comfortable and slept well. The pillows were also comfortable. We also appreciated the chocolates on the pillows! We didn't use the third floor bedroom, but it would be prefect for children, teens, or even adults if separate beds are desired. The living room sofa is also a pull out bed so there is enough room for 5-6 though you'll be sharing the one shower on the second floor. It was the perfect property and location for us! Close to shopping, dining and a local market. On Sunday they even have a street market that has vendors selling food and goods of all sorts! We've already talked about arriving on a Saturday next time so we could buy which supplies for the week and eat fresh food. This is by far the best rental we've ever had!

La maison d'Harold, en l'occurrence celle de Géraldine, a parfaitement correspondu à nos attentes. Nous avons trouvé tout ce qui nous avait séduit sur l'annonce. Belle déco, matériel et ameublement en parfait état, vaisselle nombreuse, 3 terrasses bien aménagées et très joli jardin. Géraldine est aux petits soins pour ses locataires, et offre une grande diversité de renseignements pour que nous puissions profiter pleinement de toutes les activités et centres d'intérêt de la région. Dès que nous en aurons l'occasion nous reviendrons. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Fabulous property, fabulous location

La Maison d' Harold is a great family stay right in the heart of Port-en-Bessin. The property isn't big (one double room, one twin room, one shower room) but as a base for a family of four to tour the Normandy Beaches it was perfect. Thoroughly recommended.

Parfait !!!!!

Nous rentrons tout juste de Port en Bessin, où nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette location située à proximité du port. Géraldine, est vraiment aux petits soins de ses locataires : tout est pensé pour s’y sentir comme à la maison. La maison est vraiment décorée avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipée. Rien ne manque ! Nous recommandons vivement cette location 😊😊😊
