Thank you for your interest in our Top Floor, Ali'i Level, Mana Kai condo. The direct ocean view from our condo as well as the fantastic location on the beach cannot be overstated! The Mana Kai is as good as it gets.

Covid 19 Cleaning Info: We know that in order for our guests to be able to relax while on vacation, they'll want to know that our condo has been properly cleaned and disinfected by qualified personnel. In Mana Kai 807, we've hired a cleaning company that is CDC approved and CDC compliant. Their cleaners have been trained to CDC standards and they use CDC approved cleaning materials. They have implemented additional cleaning procedures to ensure that these standards are being met. The safety of our guests comes first!

Now, back to the vacation information!

The Mana Kai Resort is located right on one of the nicest beaches on Maui, Keawakapu Beach. The sand is luxurious and the ocean is warm and clear. Great snorkeling is just steps from the Mana Kai.

Mana Kai 807 is an "Ali'i Level" 2 BR, 2 BA Ocean Front unit, with 2 Kings and a queen sized sofa bed. Because of it's location right on the beach, the Mana Kai stays nice and cool year round, but in case you prefer AC, Mana Kai 807 is equipped with central air conditioning.

The Mana Kai Resort has many conveniences such as a deli and general store on the ground floor as well as a beach equipment rental shop which has snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, bikes, etc... The excellent Five Palms restaurant is also on the ground floor, and it's happy hour has become very well known for it's great selection and low prices. The Mana Kai also features a beautiful oceanfront swimming pool and a BBQ area which is available for guest use.

The condo has a fully equipped kitchen and a large lanai with that unbeatable view! It's not at all unusual for guests to spot humpback whales in the winter and turtles year round from the lanai. Beach and bath towels are provided. In addition, the condo has free high speed WiFi internet access and a free reserved parking spot.

Mana Kai Maui is an excellent resort for families who want to be close to a safe accessible beach and love nature and views. II do miss the restaurant and bar downstairs which was so convenient. For fourty years we have enjoyed this location and the suite was lovely and as promised.

Amazing views

Such a great stay, we sat onthe Lania most of the time when we were in the room. Great to watch people and activities on the beach. Such great location for quick access to pool and beach. We even got to watch a pod of dolphins right off the beach.

Nice property with great views and wonderful beach access. Kitchen was outfitted well, and the unit generally had what would be expected. Beach chairs could use some upgrading (zippers were rusted on a couple), and a beach umbrella woould also have been nice, but not a deal breaker. Furniture in living room was okay, but seemed like it could use an updating. Good location, with great access to both Kihea and Wailea. All in all, a great place to stay, and would strongly consider returning on our next trip to Maui.

Amazing view, clean & check in was easy. The staff are friendly & the beach access was perfect. The unit is stocked extras - beach towels, beach umbrella, beach chairs, travel Maui books - all which were much appreciated. I would definitely come & stay again & would recommend.Laundry is not in the unit, but easily accessible just out the door. Some noise in the master due to proximity to the elevator.

We discovered paradise!

Imagine being so overwhelmed by the view from your balcony that you never want to leave it?!! Seriously, that was our problem! This was an amazing location, clean, cooled, it was everything we needed and more! We will definitely be back! The snorkeling just outside the condo was exactly what we needed! Don’t pass this place up, it’s a gem!

A dream

Our family of four (two teens) loved our stay. It was quite literally the perfect location. Things we loved about the property: the view, the walk out beach access, the bedrooms split up, having two bathrooms, beach chairs, coolers, floaties, grocery bags, a full kitchen of odds and ends, the general store downstairs. Tremendous Ocean view

Among the three ocean front rentals in 3 islands, we had opportunity to watch the whale dancing at the Sunset. This is our first vacation at Hawaii, so we spent majority of the time outdoors, hence, not had opportunity to use what this resort has to offer. In the future, we definitely want to stay in the place longer and enjoy it more. Love the stay!

Mana Kai is right on the beach and is the best condo building location in Kehei. The condo is good and has most everything you need. We have stayed in a couple different 2 bedroom units here and all are basically the same, relatively small but comfortable for 2 couples.

We were in Kihei for a wedding up in Kula! The location was perfect for us! We were very impressed with the condo it was very clean and had everything you needed! The view was amazing! Great location

Walked the long beach every morning then continued onto the paved Wailea beach path. Would turn around at Polo Beach before turning back. Great way to exercise during vacation. Rented a double kayak from downstairs shop, reasonable rate $50/2 hours on a 2 person kayak. Bought a blow up floater at Nearby ABC store to just relax and float in the waves. Used the BBQ which we took on a couple of picnic lunches. We stayed at this facility 10 years ago and returned.

Great spot

While being right next to the elevator is convenient it can be noisy. That was mostly 6-7 am workers I think. Also the construction is ongoing. Not an issue from the condo but an issue from the pool (jackhammers). The view is unparalleled from this condo. We would stay again once the construction is finished.

The view of Keawakapu Beach from this condo is amazing! The condo was clean, kitchen was stocked with spices, dishes, cooking utensils, cook/bakeware, cleaning supplies, etc. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets and lots of pillows, linens/towels were fresh/clean, and extra blankets and bedding was provided for the pull out couch. The condo is steps away from Keawakapu beach and a few minutes drive fromdowntown Kihei. The morning walks and evening moonlight strolls are amazing on the soft sand! The condo had a few snorkeling masks, 3 beach chairs, pool noodle, cooler bags, beach umbrella, and various other beach items in the closet. You can also rent kayaks, boogie boards, and snorkel equipment downstairs. Snorkeling is awesome in front of the Mana Kai, especially in the morning before the winds pick up and the pool is the perfect temp, cleaned every night and wasn’t crowded the whole week we were there. We had a few minor things that needed attention in the condo, and the property manager, Scott, immediately called us back and fixed the items that needed attention within hours. The Mana Kai staff and security were all super friendly and helpful, and we loved the house kitties who “patrolled” the grounds and welcomed guests back from their daily outings! The onsite 808 General Store is great to have onsite for any items you may need, forgot or a late night ice cream from the local creamery!

Sky Box in paradise!

We loved the view from this condo and also the fact that you can see the ocean from both sides. It was great to sleep with the screen door to the lanai open and hearing the waves all night. Since it is on the eighth floor we were able to get a good air flow with the tradewinds and didn't need to use the AC hardly at all even though we had some pretty hot and humid days during our stay. The amenities at the Mana Kai are really nice and we think that the beach and grass lawn down below is one of the best locations in Maui. Our kids loved swimming in the ocean, then showering and jumping into the heated pool! It was also nice to have a boogie board, a couple beach chairs, cooler, and some beach toys to kickstart our vacation. Having the awesome and reasonable ( if you eat in bar section) 5 Palms restaurant and a small store onsite is quite nice too! I would have given this condo five stars but for a couple things that aren't quite up to par-mainly the sofa bed and some of the kitchen furnishings. The manager assured me that these things are on their fix it list.

This place was amazing because of its location!!!! You cant beat it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the inaccuracy of the listing. One of the main reasons we chose this place was because it had a restaurant associated with it. However there has not been a restaurant there for 2 years. Its been under construction for some time. We were pretty frustrated by this when we got there...but we got over it. They do need to update their listing. The water there is perfect for swimming and snorkeling every day. There are many young families everywhere. The condo itself has absolutely everything you need to cook with! I find this is rare with condos like these. The top floor is nice because you have no one above you running around! The view is AMAZING! There is a shared washer dryer that takes credit cards on each floor; we found there was no issue with being overcrowded. We REALLY appreciated that there were some beach chairs and snorkel stuff! That made every day awesome by the beach. No fighting for space! As long as you go prepared to cook for yourself or go out you will love this place. Get some Poke at Foodland and your week will be set! You're within 5 minutes of all sorts of restaurants in either direction which is great. Renting snorkels and paddles boards was super easy. Scott was extremely helpful with our check in process as we were a bit stranded and exhausted from our trip. We really appreciated his help. Would absolutely go back!

Mana Kai was very nice. The south facing view was incredible. The pool was amazing and perfectly warm and heated perfectly, and you could swim for hours without getting cold. The beachfront made sunsets easy to access. It's located right on Keawakapu beach and on the north side it has rocks. This is a family friendly hotel stay. The beach out front is a dog beach, so dogs walk up and down it, on and off leash, and watched a few owners allow their dog to piss and poop, and they buried it versus cleaned it up. The beach is open to the public so sunsets invite in a lot of non-Mana Kai guests, and one of the three security guards did a great job of kicking unwanted guests off the property and pool. It was super close to everything in Wailea/Makena to Kihei. We come to Maui annually, and we stayed at 2 places in Wailea/Kihei and this was out favorite. Being near the elevator is loud for pedestrians walking to their room if they are talking, but other than that, it's a very nice location and the view is to die for. Expensive by our standards, but it was worth the price of admission. Oh, no boogie boards or free stuff, rentals only. BRX who manages the property let us check in 90 minutes early with groceries. It was very challenging to get that to happen, but thankful they were eventually gracious to let us do that. Transitioning from one place to another was not easy, and that helped not start the trip off to a negative start. God bless the owners of this condo, we'll be back!

Best place to stay on Maui!

We keep coming back time and time again to the Mana Kai. It has EVERYTHING we love and need. It's situated in an ideal location. You ride the elevator down from your room and walk briefly thru the beautiful lobby right onto the beach. It is one of the bet beaches to walk a long distance on Maui. The sand is golden and easy to walk on next to the waves. The pool is great for when it gets windy. The grassy area with beautiful lounge chairs is perfect for enjoying a sunny day and the gorgeous sunsets. The 808 Deli has just about anything you need if you run out of supplies. We always rent a suite and love the view from the balconies. We plan on going back to the Mana Kai whenever we visit. Aloha and Mahaol!

First time in Maui

Many of the public areas are under construction which we were fully aware of when we booked. No noise at all and really not an inconvenience. Great location right on the beach and between Wailea and Kihei. General store on property for snacks and rental shop for snorkel equipment and other items. Room was a little tight, however, we had everything needed in the kitchen and a great view down the beach.

Unit was clean and the view incredible. No complaints at all except the smoke alarm went off one morning and wouldn't stop beeping. Had to put it under 3 pillows until the battery must have run out of juice. But that can happen anywhere.

Dirty unit

It’s clear the owners/managers care little about cleanliness, maintenance or customer service. We’ve traveled extensively, including to areas of the developing world, but this was the first time we had to clean before unpacking. In Hawaii, it’s customary to remove shoes before entering a home, but doing so in this unit resulted in dirty feet within minutes. Not a good feeling! Manager and agent were unresponsive.

Spectacular view and location

From the moment you step out on the lanai, you know you made the right decision. What a view! We loved our stay here. Great location, excellent beach for swimming, and close to resorts and great restaurants. Highly recommend!

We love Keawakapu Beach, with its beautiful sand, scatters of volcanic rock and aquamarine water! The Mana Kai grounds offer a velvet green lawn as your viewing area. Such bliss to wake up to this stunning view! From the lanai, neighbouring islands Kaho'olawe, Molokini, Lanai, and of course, many whales’ spouts can be seen! The condo in Mana Kai is well maintained and equipped with both a fine restaurant and a well-stocked convenience store & deli on the main floor. If you love watersports, this place is ideal because the Surf shack rental shop and Hawaiian style activity concierge are right there in the lobby area as well!
