The house was in an amazing location, just a short walk to the beach access! It was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating for our group. The pool was bigger than many other private pools at houses in SPI and we loved having the outdoor shower on the back porch to rinse off before swimming. There were plenty of linens: pool towels, bathroom towels, extra blankets, and extra pillows. We also loved having so many camping chairs, a cooler, and the wagon to cart everything to the beach. The sand toys were an awesome addition as well. This is our 5th year in a row to go to SPI and this was our favorite spot so far!

Our family of 12 which included 6 children were delighted with our stay. The house is more than accommodating for a group, everything was in order, and the beach access was excellent. We highly recommend Seabattical for a family vacation!

Amazing and very clean! My family of 7 had the absolute best time at this house! Everything was very neat and clean. We loved being just a short (1 minute) walk to the beach. The pool was very clean and the perfect temperature! We cant wait to come back!

The property was okay. Not as well stocked as the property we stayed at in June.The check in process was a nightmare! Too little time before checking in. Too many forms & difficult to complete & transmit for a senior adult. When we rented thru SPI Rentals, we went to their office, signed a couple forms & got code to go directly to property, easy. This process for Seabatical was very frustrating!

Seabatical is an owner-managed vacation home rather than a large rental-company property, and we take a more hands-on approach with each guest. Our home is very well stocked for a vacation rental, including the household essentials and amenities outlined in our listing and check-in information. As with most vacation rentals, we provide starter supplies rather than food or unlimited consumable items, and had you let us know during your stay that you felt something was missing, we would have been happy to help. Because we offer contactless check-in, all guests are required to review and complete our rental documents prior to arrival. These documents explain the property rules and other important information guests need during their stay, and we require the same documentation from every guest. We understand that you preferred the office-based check-in process you experienced with SPI Rentals, but our independently managed home operates differently. We value the personal communication we’re able to provide and are always available before and during a stay to assist with questions or concerns. We wish you the best on your future visits to South Padre Island.

This house was perfect for our vacation! We had 9 people in our group and there was plenty of space. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the two covered porches and loved sitting by the pool. The location was perfect. The beach access is right around the corner. There is so much to do within minutes of this home! We would stay here again! Loved everything about this house.

Wonderful Stay!

The condo is excellent, offering many fun activities for teens, and the location is very convenient. The beds were great, and there were lots of towels for the bath and beach. The pool was clean and very refreshing. The location is great if you are coming in from out of town and having groceries delivered or if you want to dine out. The kitchen could use some updates with pots and pans, but otherwise it was a amazing stay!

Family getaway

Very nice house that has everything we were looking for. Close to beach açcess,room for the whole family . Loved our time there, hosts were great. We were missing some family members due to illness but the lovely house helped to make up for any disappointment.
