Great view and location

Very nice place for a couple. Good location to grocery and downtown. Beach is a few steps away and condo has an amazing view

Lovely Location/Disappointing Accommodations

We booked a week and a half visit with Vrbo, but subsequently decided that we'd like to stay a few extra days. We contacted the owners about extending the visit. They advised us to send the additional payment to them directly, rather than pay through Vrbo. Our apartment had a number of problems. 1. The inside bathroom door handle came off, making it difficult to open the door. 2. The main light over the dining table was broken (we were informed about the light before we arrived). 3. The bedroom closet door was broken. 4. The only place to sit in the bedroom was on a small setee, but 2 of the legs were broken, which we discovered when it collapsed after a small suitcase was placed on it. We believe it was potentiaily dangerous. There was no place to sit for dressing purposes in the bedroom as the bed was much too high. 5. The bottom drawer of the stove wouldn't fit in correctly. We informed the owners of these concerns shortly after we arrived. They came to fix the problems - except for the light fixture - 3 days before the end of our 2 week stay. We suggested to the owners a small reimbursement after other problems arose in the kitchen and bathroom. They declined to do so. That being said, we love Amelia Island and hope to return to it next winter.

Wonderful Oceanfront Condo with Beautiful Views

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful condo for 3 nights in early April. The decor is relaxed and very beachy with comfortable sofa and bed, a wonderful large window view from the living room of the beach and ocean, a nice screened porch with comfortable seating and table that also provides an cean view, opening on the living room and bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped with many cooking tools to create a meal, and there is a tv in both the living room and bedroom. The shower has attractive tile and good, hot water. Nearby Fernandina Beach has many restaurants only 10 to 15 minutes away. We will come back here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway, with ocean and two pools just steps away and tennis courts are on the property as well.
