Loved the location! Central to all our family and everything we needed to visit. The house was cozy, although it did share a wall with the neighbor. The bathroom fan was very loud when it first went on, but I was glad it had one. Some complain the shower is small but it is a standard single stall shower. Small but I fit as a plus size woman.
Cute little apartment style home. In great location to go hiking, shopping, airport, or visiting downtown Asheville, NC. Really enjoyed our stay there and wish we would have staying there several more days.

Enjoyable Trip!
We stayed at the Azalea Cottage for a few days and had an amazing time! The cottage was extremely clean and had all the kitchen items we needed to prepare our own meals. It was close to all the things that we wanted to do during our trip, such as visit the Biltmore, go for a hike at John's Rock and visit Downtown Asheville. We enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again in the future!

Very nice and cozy. Bed was very comfortable.
We had a great time staying at azalea cottage. It was only a 15 minute drive from downtown Asheville and very close to other shops. Only thing I would change is the curtains on the window in the living room. We noticed that they are see through at night with the lights on inside.

I am really surprised by this review. I would never want a guest to feel like they didn't have privacy. We have stayed at this property many times while in town and never felt like someone could see in at night. Also, we have stayed at the property across from this one and never noticed being able to see in to it. The curtains are a linen material, not sheer. This year we have had at least 30 guests at this property without a complaint but we will have our staff check this out and change them asap if necessary. Again, I'm so sorry this was an issue for this guest.

Perfect!
Very quiet and comfy place to stay. Very easy access to Asheville. Everything was very clean. The bed very comfortable. Great internet and a comfy couch for watching movies/tv. Only 2 rolls of TP so if you’re there for longer than a few days you’ll need to grab some. The owner of very quick to respond to questions. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Enjoyed the quiet and restful weekend
This cottage is perfect for a couple wanting to relax and have a great home base to explore the area. We were impressed with the small touches that the home offered as it was very tastefully decorated, well stocked and extremely clean. The bed and linens were of good quality and the duplex was very quiet. The resident cat always greeted us when we arrived in the driveway too!
We explored not only Asheville but the Blue Ridge Parkway and Brevard from this location. Easy to find but felt very private.

Clean and quaint!
This place was great for our weekend getaway!! We enjoyed having a kitchen and some space to spread out instead of just a hotel room. This house is right in the middle of the small town so the road noise was a little surprisingly loud during the day. Not a problem until we tried to take a nap :) And the noise was not a problem at night, much quieter, plus the sound machine in the bedroom was a nice bonus.

I'm surprised the road noise was a problem as it's only a 2 lane road below the property but the foliage is thin during the winter so the noise isn't as blocked as it is other times of the year. We are adding 15 evergreen bushes along the property line there so hopefully that will help in the winter months.
Thank you for your feedback!!!

Awesome!
This was a beautiful little spot. It is about 10 miles outside of Asheville which is perfect to get away from all the hustle and bustle. We stayed a 5 nights and it was super quiet and cozy. The only con was the shower was a bit small. My husband is 6’2 and 260 and it was a tight fit for him. But other than that I would give 5 stars.

Fantastic and comfortable cottage with the perfect location!
The cottage is well built and furnished. This is a duplex, yet we never heard the family staying in the attached cottage. We did hear some road noise, but nothing outside of the ordinary. The bed was not the most comfortable, but was more than adequate. Few beds can compete with my memory foam bed back home. We loved this cottage and would be happy to return when we are able to leave the kids at home for another weekend.

Thanks for the nice review. We agree about the bed as we have a super expensive bed ourselves and few compare with it. However, the bed at this property is not bottom of the line. It was fairly pricey and we have had many compliments from previous guests.
Hope you will return and stay with us again.

Perfect vacation cottage when visiting Asheville
Property is well maintained and exactly how it's described in the listing. It's the perfect size for two people. I was visiting with my 16 year old son and we had everything we needed. He enjoyed the oversized couch for watching TV. It's secluded with a bit of street noise from down the hill. The only thing I would have liked would have been a chair on the porch area to sit outside. The only seating is the stone wall of the other cottage.
The location to Biltmore Park and the area is perfect (we explored as far away as Bryson City). We have friends who live in Asheville so we will definitely be visiting again and will make sure to keep in touch with Bruce.
Bruce was so helpful and accommodating even when I needed to add days to my reservation. Everything with my transaction went perfect. Thanks again for offering such a great cottage at an affordable price. We look forward to staying again soon!

We truly enjoyed our cottage in Arden, it had everything we needed for our week stay! We were glad we had a rental car and enjoyed being able to take beautiful drives along the Blue Ridge parkway which was nearby and were close to lots of great hiking spots. One con was that we were quite far outside of downtown Asheville, we often took Uber to get there and visit the many breweries. It was often difficult for Uber drivers to find and it took a while to get a driver out there. But overall the pros outweighed the cons and we would totally recommend this spot to others!
This little cottage, emphasis on little, was the perfect place for my wife and I. It had such a cozy feel to it, it made our kid free weekend feel complete. It wasn't to far from downtown Ashville, Biltmore Estate, and right down the road from a entrance onto the Blue Ridge Parkway. WOULD HIGHLEY RECOMMEND!!!!!
***Shower stall is very narrow, with a standard height showerhead, so you will feel like your ducking under it if your over 5'8". Wasn't a complaint for us, just an observation for others.
Bruce and Melissa were awesome to work with! The one minor issue we had was the first PDF for check in instructions did not load, but they fixed it right away. We loved the place and enjoyed our stay!
