The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Jessica and Kevin were great hosts and always readily available if needed. We will definitely be renting this cabin again in the future.
We love staying here, it is close to lots of fun activities and the property is perfect for our extended family. The mosquitoes were intense for some reason this year so we stayed inside when we were at the property but there was plenty of space for all of us and our pets!
Cozy log cabin in a rural area which serves as a great jumping-off point for attractions in Maine and New Hampshire. The cabin is spacious and well equipped to keep both kids and adults entertained.
A clean, well stocked and supplied home. Very rustic log cabin with a beautiful hot tub on a private wooded lot. We went with an older group with 2 grandkids and everyone a a blast staying here. Can't wait to go back
Highly recommend for larger groups! We had 7 adults and 1 child with plenty of room for our stay. The hot tub and game room were great and the cabin is pet friendly. We had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive and helpful for any questions.Would definitely considering booking again if we were to stay in the area!
We really enjoyed our time last weekend at this amazing home! Our family loved the cozy woodstove and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day of playing in the snow. Jess and Kevin were such gracious hosts and went above and beyond with their communication and attention to detail. We would highly recommend a trip to their log cabin and hope to stay there again ourselves!
Beautiful property. Secluded....but easy drive to all winter activities. We had lots of fresh snow. Favorite activities - making snowshoe trails in the woods around the property and then sitting in hot tub.
We just returned from a fun weekend getaway here! The cabin is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you could need. The cabin easily accommodated our large family group. We enjoyed all the amenities (hot tub, air hockey, foosball). It was an easy drive to two nearby mountains for skiing and tubing. The hosts provided so much helpful information and a lovely gift basket. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay here again!
A clean, spacious beautiful log cabin on a quiet private lot in the mountains. This home is well stocked with everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Our 3rd year staying here creating fond memories and hope to come back next year. The hosts have done a great job anticipating the needs and comforts of renters. A wonderful time at this property was had by all. Thank You
Our ski weekend group of 11 people stayed here for a long weekend. The owners were very friendly and easy to communicate with. They provided everything we would need and gave us access to plenty of firewood. The cabin was clean and well appointed. It had a great cozy cabin feel. The hot tub right off the deck was a blast to use. Our group of 11 did feel a bit tight when everyone was eating/cooking, but other than that it was a perfect cabin getaway!
We just returned from spending a week at the cabin. For some in our party, it was our second visit to the cabin because we loved it so much. It is very inviting and relaxing. There is a lot to do at the cabin and the surrounding area. We enjoyed walking and hiking in the area, kayaking and tubing, visiting the local eateries, and venturing to places in the state. The game room, spa, and fire pit at the cabin were the kids’ favorites. Jess and Kevin are the best hosts and responded quickly to our questions. We hope to return again soon!
We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! The house was incredibly cozy and had a great layout, making it perfect for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed, including plenty of plates, cups, and pots for our group of 10. We enjoyed cooking big meals like pho and spaghetti during our stay. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. After long days of snowboarding, the hot tub was a dream come true. One of the highlights was being able to bring our dog along—he loved the house and the yard just as much as we did! Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
Black Dog Cabin is a very special place in a beautiful setting. Plenty of room for our three generation family. Comfortable bedrooms and spacious living spaces. Fabulous dining room table for family dinners. Great fire pit for mandatory s’mores. Jess is gracious and on point with communication and very accommodating. A surprise gift basket that was fit for both two and four legged friends! 🐾🐾
Our family loved staying in the Black Dog Cabin. The log home is beautiful and so cozy. After a day of skiing we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, sitting by the wood stove in the living room and playing pool in the basement. With 5 tastefully furnished bedrooms, a large living room and an upstairs TV area there was plenary of room for everyone. The property is private yet very accessible. Jessica and Kevin were very responsive before and during our stay, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful Welcome Basket. The Black Dog Cabin is one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed in and are very grateful that we were able to rent it. We hope to return.
Had a great time around the fire pit (and hot tub) with old friends and family every night. Several couples, two teenage children, and two dogs (10+2🐶). Plenty of space, had 3 extra unused bunks even. 2 full bathrooms VERY helpful as well. Thoroughly and thoughtfully stocked kitchen and bathroom. Every time we looked for something we needed, there it was! Highly recommend. The only thing I questioned was that it’s a good 30 minute drive to the more populated North Conway attractions, but I found that on those days the ride home to your quiet private cabin was actually very nice.
The place was great! It was a good place to get away but also to travel to more populated areas. Everyone loved it. The description stated there were only 2 A/C units but when we arrived all of the upstairs bedrooms had a window unit along with the living room on the main level. This was a treat because it was quite hot and humid during our stay. They provided a book on what to see, eat, shop, etc which was quite helpful. The providers checked in with us every so often which was quite nice. We also had a flat tire and they even helped with that. Their caretaker came over and fixed it (unexpected treat).
It was a wonderful relaxing much needed time spent with my adult children. Away from all the hustle and bustle of work and it was great to be off the grid, no phones (although service was excellent) no tv (which was provided) just quality time with my grown children. We played board games and cooked great meals. jess and Kevin’s home was warm and cozy and decorated like something out of a magazine. Their kitchen was fully stocked and so was the wood supply which we appreciated because it was damp with all the rain and the fire took the chill and dampness out of the air. The cabin is located near everything including great restaurants and grocers. Jess left us a booklet filled with everything you needed to know which was so helpful. After a day of hiking we all enjoyed the Hot tub. We were very grateful we could bring our dogs , they are very well behaved because they travel with us everywhere. All in all, I cannot say enough about the Cabin, the hosts, and the the location. We have been vacationing to Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine for over 30 years and this place rates in the top 5. Thank you Jess and Kevin for the memories
