We absolutely loved our stay on a large family vacation. It was perfect proximity to walk to the beach, dinners and coffee. The property management team was super communicative with all of our deliveries prior to check in.

This house is beautiful and in a great location. We loved being able to walk to the beach. Host company did well with communication and responsiveness. However, the attention to detail regarding cleanliness is being very poorly executed. It is smelly and grimy. Hot tub wasn’t hot. Rooftop was trashed. Don’t expect it to look like the photos. Feel bad for the house, it deserves more and could be a very special spot.

Great weekend getaway!

I stayed here with my 8 other friends and it was perfect! We are a more chill bunch, so the quiet neighborhood was great. We could walk to La Jolla (30 min) and/or to the beach and get to feel like locals.

Great stay in La Jolla

Property is modern and well stocked. Pool and hot tub are lovely, and location is walking distance to downtown La Jolla. Pool patio and rooftop patio are also nice features. I would recommend.

Great property - 10/10 would recommend. Would benefit from additional shower in one of bedrooms, but overall this was a great property in a good location near a cool beach in La Jolla. Comfortably located between the Village/Cove/Bird Rock. Great stay.

Great Place for a Family Get Together

The house turned out to be a great place to reconnect with 10 family members. It has an open layout and was well stocked. The outdoor space was the perfect place to entertain. Avant customer service was excellent responding quickly to a minor issue. We really enjoyed our stay.

Love this house & location

This was a perfect house to celebrate 3 friends turning 50. We had 8 ladies stay, 4 had private rooms and 3 shared. There was plenty of space, a huge kitchen, outdoor seating and steps (slightly more than .25 miles) from the beach and close walk to get coffee. Can't recommend it enough.

La Jolla Joy

This property was very spacious and well appointed. The best was the property management group, AvantStay. We had a few glitches initially that were promptly taken care of. Response time to our inquiries was 1-2 minutes. This really helped to make our trip very enjoyable. I would def rent this house again.

Awesome! Couldn’t be better

This is an exception property. Everything promised and more!!! The bedrooms are incredibly comfortable and perfectly laid out, the living room kitchen awesome, modern, and so convenient, ample baths and wonderful showers. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent! AvantStay was highly responsive and helpful. We have stayed at multiple VRBO listings previously and this one is by far the most exceptional. A truly lovely venue.

Meh…

We rent properties on VrBO with some frequency, many in the luxury category. This property reads nicer than it is, certainly for what you pay to stay. There were plenty of beach gear to play with and pool floaters. The kitchen was stocked with basics. Big miss were linens. Motel six quality bath towels, no beach or pool towels. Kitchen cabinets were worn and tacky to the touch. One bathroom racier was corroded. One bedroom (for 4 people) has no way to hang or put away clothes, and no luggage rack until we asked for one. Several basic kitchen items were broken (which the property management group did a good job trying to remedy). This property fell far short of expectations.
