My accommodations were everything I had hoped they would be, as the description on the listing promised...There were a few happy surprises during my stay; namely the hosts were very friendly and helpful even beyond what could normally be expected.I've visited the Black Hills numerous times over multiple decades, and this was by far the most pleasant place I have stayed.A beautiful and well-maintained property with ample amenities, centrally located within this tourism rich region of South Dakota.I felt right at home immediately upon arrival and felt a degree of sadness departing after a full week-long visit.I wouldn't hesitate to reserve another stay in one of these fully functional live-in style cabins for future adventures located in the heart of one of America's most loved recreational playgrounds.Kudos to Campfire Cabins; may they continue to thrive and entertain many happy and contented guests!
It is an excellent cabin geared towards couples or young families. Have never a nicer or more accommodating host before! Cabins are excellent but smaller. They say sleep 4 but should be noted that means a couple with two small children. Not four men. Details are in the small print. But would still definitely recommend these cabins! Will still give them a 10/10 because it was my fault I didn't read the full details.
The hosts are fabulous, the farm animals just the right bit of entertaining. would definitely stay there again and highly recommend. Location is perfect.

Great place to stay. Sarah checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was great to get any where you needed to go but far enough away from the crowds. The cabin had everything you needed. We will stay there again.
What a amazing place !!! The host was awesome as well as having a binder inside the cabin with information on the surrounding area and how this amazing place got started. Lived the rabbita and the cool goats that came to see us as we were leaving. I highly recommend. We definitely will be back !!!
This place was perfect to finish our motorcycle enduro trip to the black hills! Sarah the owner was great and the cabin was perfect for the final days of our trip!

Thank you so much Breanne! We loved hosting you guys, come back anytime!!
Beautiful cabin setting in the Black Hills. Ideal location allowed us to experience many of area attractions - scenic drives, hikes, Mt. Rushmore, etc. The property owners, Sarah and Al, were very warm and welcoming, quickly responded to questions and offered many great sight seeing suggestions. Would enjoy visiting again.

Thank you Dan! We enjoyed meeting you and your family, hope you made lots of fun memories :)
We loved our stay! We picked the property due to the mention of the farm animals! Our 3 year old was excited about everything at the cabin. Loft stairs were a bit of a challenge with her age and curious personality but she did just fine. We’d stay here again!
We stayed for our Deadwood and Devil’s Tower leg of our trip and it was perfectly located. Easy to find and clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again. Our only regret is that we didn’t have time to cook the fresh eggs they left for us.
sara was a perfect hostess. We very much enjoyed the fresh eggs she gave us. The cabin was perfect
The property is centrally located to most Black Hills activities. The central firepit and picnic table was very nice. We enjoyed the front porch views. The animals were fun to see. The cabin was nicely furnished with everything necessary to make a meal.

Thank you Lynne! We hope you enjoyed your time in the Black Hills and were able to see all the sites you came to see! Al & Sarah
The cabin worked pretty well for what we needed. My 19 year old son and I were hunting in the area and just needed a place to sleep. The loft that he slept in would work great for small children but has a pretty low ceiling. The cabin was very clean and cozy. This place is very family friendly! Perfect for a couple with small kids.
The cabin was great and property was awesome our kids enjoyed all of the animals and the hosts were great and were available anytime we needed them. Thank you for everything!
These super cute cabins are very clean. The owners are very friendly and have thought of all the little things to make this a great little home away from home. The bathroom is large and there are plenty of mirrors and plug-ins in the cabin for multiple people to get ready in the mornings. The little porch in front is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and scenery. They have cute little animals running around for some entertainment. Highly recommended! I look forward to staying there again!
