5 min to Mt. Sunapee/Short walk to Newbury Harbor & Beach/Large Backyard

Hi Peter, I'm glad you had the chance to stay at our house and thought it was a good location for kids. I am sorry to hear you had some issues during your stay. As I mentioned in my email, there is no cell service in the house and you do need to connect your phone through wifi, which is the same for the other houses on that street. It's a bad cell area. I do work up there quite often and didn't have issues with the wifi, but maybe I need to have it checked out by the internet company. I do agree, the water pressure was bad when I went up after you left. I was quite surprised. I had tried new water filters but went back to the other brand when I saw how low the water pressure was coming out. I apologize that it was that bad. I didn't see any ants when I was there last, which was just a week before you were there, but I will look when I return this weekend. In regards to the stairs, they are right under a lot of trees, so they do require to be broomed quite often. As for the bathroom door squeak, that is an easy fix and I will add some WD-40 to the bathroom door this weekend. I hadn't noticed it. We do continue to make updates and improvements on the house, even since you left 2 weeks ago we have pulled up the rugs in the main living room/dining area. That whole area will be done over within the next week. We had just replaced the floors in the second living room, we have updated the kitchen, and also two of the bedrooms. We are getting there. Hi Lian, Thank you for the feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. It did sound like you had a nice time. In regards to the carpet and toilet, both are cleaned before your stay. I will admit, the carpet is old but clean. We are in the process of updating everything, including the carpets. We have only owned the house for 8 months (been in my wife's family for 50 years), but we are hard at work. The same carpet was in the second living room, but I just replaced that with the wood floor you see now. I plan on getting to the other carpet in the next couple of months. The bathroom is fairly new. The challenge with the toilet is the well water, on occasion, the minerals and sentiment sit in the toilet if not used for a few days. and can give it an off-color. I will certainly look into your feedback about the shower head. I hadn't even thought of that, but that is an easy fix and do appreciate the idea. Thank you again for your stay.
