3BR Cozy Bohemian Lakehouse w/Quirky Attic Fenced Yard Fast Wifi Pet Friendly

Escape to serene Turtle Cove - a newly renovated cozy 1600 sq ft. retreat where you can relax with a cup of coffee on a huge private deck and watch turtles sunning in the peaceful cove. There's lots for the family to do at this vacation rental. When you're done relaxing on the expanded deck, take your boat out from the free boat slip and go for a ride. Our guests have free access to a boat ramp nearby. No boat? No problem! You can rent one nearby or still enjoy the lake; fishing or kayaking are other options. As the evening cools down, warm up by the fire pit and throw a couple of burgers on the grill for relaxed outdoor dining. If you want to head out to Downtown Hot Springs, it's about a 20 min drive to the many restaurants, famous baths, Oaklawn race track, Magic Mountain and more.
FYI - Entergy draws down the lake from November to March.

Back - Sprawling deck overlooking the lake. Canopy on the top level along with outside dining. Chaise Recliners (2) perfect for tanning on the bottom level.

Lake Time Leisure

We had a lovely stay with our three teenagers. They loved the loft area and after our daily activities were thrilled to hide away upstairs. The patio was our favorite spot. We did lots of grilling and hanging out with the view of Turtle Cove. The location was perfect! Far enough out to be secluded and quiet but close enough to all the fun of Hot Springs.

Thanksgiving Getaway

My girls loved our stay. Enjoyed the fire pit and fenced in yard for our dog. Beds were all very comfortable and house was cozy. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Great stay!

The place was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the location being away from town but not too far to be a burden. The neighbors were really quiet and respectful. The bed was very comfortable and had really nice pillows so we slept well. Good overall stay and very satisfied!

My wife and I and our 2 dogs enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was clean and as advertised. With the fenced in yard it was perfect for the dogs. And the A/C works great! It was just what we were looking for.

Great little family retreat

The house was perfect for hosting a family Thanksgiving get together. We will definitely use again when we come back to Hot Springs. Black Friday shopping was good too....Harps was the closest Market and had everything we needed. Thanks for a wonderful trip

Girls Weekend

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere.The neighborhood was quiet. It was centrally located to activities and shopping. We loved the deck and fire pit but would have liked to have had another kayak so we didn't have to kayak alone. Also a ladder to access the water.

Amazing rental!

We had such a lovely time at Turtle Cove! Our kids loved fishing right in the backyard. We saw some massive fish too! The house offered everything we needed, and the kitchen was well appointed. The hosts were extremely kind and answered any questions we had quickly. It was great to be able to bring our dog as well. We will definitely be back!

This is in a quiet neighborhood. We caught several fish from the pier. We sat by the fire pit in the evenings. The back yard was fenced for our fur animals. Will definitely be renting this place again. My family and I really enjoyed the time away from home to just sit back and relax. It’s also close to town to grab anything you may have forgot at home.

Perfect Getaway

We decided to take a little trip after Christmas and this was the perfect spot. The place is conveniently located near Hot springs and all the attractions. Loved the shopping downtown, Garvan Gardens and Weldon’s Meat Market won’t disappoint. The home is very well stocked and will have anything you would possibly need. Very quiet and serene location. Loved the patio which overlooked the river. We grilled every night while enjoying the fantastic patio. The hosts were great and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

Lake Ouachita vacay

We really enjoyed renting this property. It was enjoyable for the whole family. The house is super cozy and really beautiful. We enjoyed just being able to rest from the road trip and gather back up our energy for our adventure Saturday. Saturday we went below Blakely dam and swam which was awesome and very cold at the same time. Another good point of the property is that it's location is only like five miles from the dam and generally a good central point to access adventures in whichever direction you choose. We were very pleased with our stay!!

Relaxing Getaway

This place is so cute!! That's what my sister-in-law kept saying and she is right. I originally rented the house for just my husband and I but then invited his brother and sister-in-law so I changed the booking from 2 to 4 adults with no problem. We were notified that the ceilings upstairs were low so my husband and I took one of the upstairs bedrooms as we are under 6 feet tall. The room was cozy and comfortable. We had no trouble moving around. The downstairs is very roomy and furnished nicely. I would suggest bringing a bag of ice as the ice trays furnished could not keep up with our usage. But, we use a lot of ice. We spent most of our time out on the deck, which is very large and shaded for most of the day. We like that the yard is fenced as our small dog puts her nose to the ground and can be a mile down the road before you know it and we did not have to worry about it here. There was a minor glitch upon our arrival but it was handled quickly and efficiently. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future..

Good Spot for the Price

I spent a few nights here with my teenaged kids over Spring Break and had a good stay. The house is pretty much as listed, although a touch closer to neighbors on either side than it seemed like it might be from the photos. Plenty of room inside for all 3 of us to spread out and relax for the few days. We enjoyed watching the turtles on the downed tree across from the dock. The kitchen isn't as well-equipped as some other short term rentals I've used, so if you plan on making your meals at the house, you might want to bring a few essentials. For example, there were no baking sheets or some of the basic things like aluminum foil. Lots of cabinet space, but most of them were empty. There was also no dish soap, other than the dishwasher pods, which meant running the dishwasher more than might have otherwise been needed. There were a few small pots and pans, which unfortunately had something sticky all over the bottom that ended up smoking badly when we used them until we scrubbed them with hot water and a brush and then ran through the dishwasher. Overall, it was an affordable stay and we had a relaxing stay and I felt like we got our money's worth.

My favorite thing to do in life is to travel, meet people and enjoy new experiences. This property meets my needs as I'm a girl who loves the water. I live here only a part of the year and in my absence my wonderful Property Manager Cheryl who lives nearby and who loves hospitality will be available to serve your needs. I like to know that other travelers like me who appreciate the simple things in life can come to this home away from home to spend a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

Why they chose this property

I bought this property because it's so darn cute. Plus it's perfectly located to allow you to enjoy a wide range of activities especially in the Summer: hiking, kayaking, soaking in Hot Springs baths, fishing and water sports. The first thing I did when I bought it was to extend the deck at the back of the property. I designed it for you to enjoy nature in its glory. It's a big deck! You'll be surrounded by beautiful trees. You can drink coffee or sweet tea or eat dinner right on the deck overlooking the water.

You have a private boat slip at your disposal so you can bring your boat. The outside of the house has cedar shake siding which is beautiful and complements the beauty of the natural environment. The interior of the house is light and airy. Downstairs a couple can enjoy a huge king bed with an ensuite bedroom. Upstairs is where your typical boho loft style bedrooms are located.

What I love about the property is that it's great for a family who wants to spend some quality time together with their pets in the quiet country side with lots to do together.

What makes this property unique

When I bought this property I was intrigued that I was going to be living in a place that was pretty much a national park. I fell in love. The flora and fauna, the turtles and other wildlife and of course the lake front right off the deck make this property unique. The land space is large enough for at least four cars to park inside and it's fenced so you can bring your dogs and have them run around.
